I believe it's their attempt at how did we get here. I'm hoping it makes more sense as we go through the rest of the episodes for season 3.

We watched a couple more episodes. I’m sure we’ll finish the season but right now I think it’s run its course and this should be it for the show.

Lots of shows hang on for a season or two longer than they should and we stop watching them. (“Run its course” is just a personal opinion.) Unless season 3 gets better quickly, that could be the case here. Just seems like the show is trying to be something more than it is supposed to be or needs to be.

So we finished Interview with the Vampire last night. Interesting and some good episodes. If you can get by the "gay vampire sex" it's not bad. Why can't we have "Goth lesbian vampires" (might be the rum talking).

I really liked that episode of the trial. Great acting by everyone.

My wife loves it for the same reason...I have a hard time with the bizarreness of it all. But occasionally when I join my wife in watching, I just shake my head and laugh at it all.

So true! It’s like the producers purposely choose the weirdest, most dysfunctional couples to showcase. It makes for great mindless television.
