Another three inches of the white crap overnight! On the bright side, the high today was 42 F and melted a lot of the accumulated snow.

On the rodent forecasting front, Punxsutawney Phil said that we're in for another six weeks of winter and Staten Island Chuck said that spring will be early. OCD psycho dogs love chasing the rodent prognosticators on groundhog day:

Partly cloudy and just above freezing, with a 30+ MPH wind howling through the trees. We're under a Winter Storm Watch for 5-8 inches of the white stuff tomorrow, and the long-range forecast has some sort of snow for 10 of the next 12 days.

Meanwhile at our SC tree farm where I'd rather be than house-bound in upstate NY, it is 72 F and sunny with the high forecast to be a perfect 75 F.....

It looks like we are finally getting a snowstorm Wednesday here in Illinois. Forecasted 3-6 or 4-8 inches of snow. Weather folks are not sure how much accumulation we'll get. Looks like it's time to use the snow blower this year

Gotta drag that thing out of the basement.

We're scheduled to get approximately 3 1/2 inches of rain this week over Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Our biggest rain of the season. Time to get out the pump.
