Snow day tomorrow. Everybody stays home nice and safe and this will allow the contractor to clear the clinic's parking lot.

We *may* actually get some winter weather...forecast is for snow or freezing rain tomorrow. My driveway is short but very steep.

Apparently, the system won't be overhead until noonish. I'll head out to the clinic, grab a few files and do a couple of house calls since the roads are in good shape. It's going to be messy later...

Got hit overnight with 7", the 2 series isn't leaving until the plow comes.

At least it's light and fluffy.

The big storm that was supposed to hit yesterday and leave the roads a mess was a dud. Maybe a 1/4" of snow, but mostly light rain. Now it's cold as hell again, so that dusting of snow will hang around for a while. And we have an Arctic blast coming for all next week. I'm hoping that's the last one of the season. Looking forward to springtime.

4-5" snow yesterday, light and fluffy. I used the snowblower to clear my drive and three of my neighbors. First time I had it out all winter.

Today 11 degrees F and used the shovel to clear what fell and drifted over night. Took a while (1500 sq ft), but no real lifting.

Warm enough to put my Tilley on when the top goes down on my ride home. High 80s.

Got about a foot or so of snow last night, with the accumulated snow from before, I'd guess the yard has about 2-3 feet or so...enough that my dog just disappears since he's only 7 months old and roughly two feet himself at the head. Kids lost him more than once lol.

I did not think they needed to close the school today though - roads were mostly plowed, with 4WD you were fine, with 2WD, maybe a little greasy but still manageable. I can understand why they cancelled the buses, but I think the school could have been opened as it normally is on snow days.

Florida beats SoCal today. We got 50°F and rain; lots of it. We need it so I'm happy about that.

The storm came in right on cue. It's coming down fast and furious. This morning. I picked-up my new colleague, went to the clinic for files and travel bags and did a few house calls. We spent the afternoon doing paperwork and making phone calls. She's staying overnight so we'll have a girlie evening. Fruity wine might be involved. Doing back ribs as we speak.

We got 2-3 inches of snow. Not particularly remarkable. But I got a call that my physical therapy session this morning was cancelled due to weather. And the schools closed due to weather.

It is now 32F and there will no doubt be melting. The forecast is for freezing tonight. Tomorrow may be the dangerous day.

I haven't been outside yet to check it out. But there are sorts of vehicles -- cars and ATVs -- buzzing around the neighborhood enjoying getting sideways, so I'm thinking of moving the pickup to the driveway to avoid getting damaged by some idiot.
