Owning both a pristine low mileage E90 M3 6MT slicktop and an E91 for many years now, before ever paying crazy prices for a simple N52 powered weak-kneed open differential, slow steering rack ratio, etc, E91, I'd recommend for anyone to consider finding a nice E90 M3 6MT *and* a somewhat beater E91 for that price. I promise the E90 M3 experience is nothing like driving any N52 E91.
![]() The E90 M3 6MT market is on vertical fire right now since they are rare compared to the E92 (only just over 5867 imported E90 M3s and 3135 of those are 6MT), but the E92 market is similarly appreciating of course. You won't find a very low mileage as-new example for less than $50k, but you can find some in the $35-40k range. I'd couple one of those and an average condition E91 to arrive at a super fun car for special times and a useful beater E91 which you can add some suspension mods, wheel mods to in order to improve upon the stock rolly-polly slop setup.

I sold my pristine blue E90M with only 58k for $47.5 a few weeks back. No way could I justify a 230hp engine for that kind of money. Even my 335 is a snooze fest compared to the M3.

Google tune2air, it'll do what you're asking for, though make sure to unplug it from your car if you're not driving for a couple days. It will kill your battery, ask me how I know. |

To your next question, I have ProClip mounts in all of my cars. They work really well. You buy a base specific to your car, and a phone mount specific to your phone model: https://www.proclipusa.com/ |

ThankYou @ppointer
rothwem CSBM5 Would the BT car kit with an audio Jack from Amazon work well to stream music from pandora or Spotify? Or are there any integrated kits available out there I was able to get the BT kit from rennkit to plug in my 911 hence looking for something similar |

There is cheap aux to Bluetooth adapters on Amazon.
Find one that needs a power source to turn on. That way it turns off when your car turns off. Your phone connects to the adapter via Bluetooth and plays through the aux. |

XTREME WAB91008BK XTREME Monster Bluetooth Audio Receiver, Black,WBA9-1008-BLK https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07V1HMX...RAZ4VM9FXMD299
I bought this one at Walmart, I'm happy with it since I can keep it inside the armrest console....it has a battery so doesn't always have to be connected to a power source. |

TUNAI Firefly LDAC Bluetooth Receiver: High Resolution Wireless Audio Bluetooth 5.0 Adapter with Audiophile USB DAC 3.5mm AUX for Car/Home Stereo Hi Res Music Streaming; Auto On, No Charging Needed https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01HDO66NK...ing=UTF8&psc=1
This is a good one. It automatically connects and disconnects from your phone. I’ve tried the battery powered ones and they need to be manually turned on and your phone keeps sending music to it if it’s not off. |

I know the vehicle I purchased a 2011 E91 wagon has the BMW professional radio and the VIN Decoder shows a S6FL-USB/AudioInterface & S6VC-Control, Combox. I'm unsure if it has the USB /Aux as I don't have the vehicle as yet and just preparing for my 1k road trip when I take delivery. As I research I came across this module https://adapter-universe.de/1883/blu...90-e91-e92-e93 Anyone do a plug /play with this? Does it retain the factory BT Phone functionality while adding the BT Music streaming thru the OEM speakers? any insight would definitely be helpful since Im new to the E9xx platform without the iDrive ThankYou |
