Don't have FMIC but with colder weather at this time of the year decided to update map from stage 1 agg to stage 1+ agg. Has been wet last two days so can't comment on response difference. One thing I did notice is the hpfp priming is not occurring with the 1+ map, IJEOS. Anyone else notice this condition?

Make sure you look at IATs when you try and compare the two. If you IATs are high then the map is not working at its full potential...

regarding your question, I can hear my pump priming on all maps (I8a0S)...

Hey dude

it's when you unlock your car, don't you hear a whine (not sure if this is the correct word, but it's the only noise you hear) for a couple of seconds? That's your pump priming. It started happening after the latest software revision by BMW...

Ah yes, I have heard that ever since I got my car. I always wondered what that was. I thought it was the battery engaging from sleep. haha,

on version 15 now, waiting for 16. Damn rain, suppose to clear up after tomorrow.

loving the Air Temps, IATs not going above 90 on 2nd pull. Just dialing in some throttle closures and should be done.

Nice and cool here this time of year but i agree. So ok dumb question time...on the AP the IAT the Air Temp TB signal and not the Charge Air Temp, correct? Also where is the Charge Air Temp Sensor located?

I've used a few of the Stage 1 maps and pumped always primed as well. May try the 1+ Sport see what happens then reload the 1+ Agg

IAT as I know it is; Intercooler Air Temps which is the same as Charged Air Temps on the COBB for logging.

Good luck! I had a chance to do some testing but my fuel was 3/4 full so couldn't add enough E85 and now it is raining again

That's the PNW for you.

Low IATs are great... the car really felt different in the morning! but to be honest my IATs are always below ambient now

I'm almost done as well. I'm at V10 with the E50+meth map. Total >25 versions tested so far hehehe

it does kind of suck that when we finally get the MAPs done, we really can't enjoy it. O'well that's what happens when I wait.

well I blame it on some merchandise that took all of August to get.

That's exactly how I feel! All that work and we'll have to wait till July (at least here in Oregon) to enjoy it...
