FYI... for the next 125 sets or so, i have switched to a new LED Design, which makes it brighter, more evenly distributed for the center ring, and as well, its a slightly cooler color. the new color will be 6500k, where as the previous sets were 6000k. Its hard to tell the difference, but it helps it stand out in the daytime a bit better

I've had my H8's on the car for about 3 months now and they look great.

I've gotten the bulb out error about two months ago for a few seconds and then again yesterday. I hope it's not going to start happening more frequently...

Will these fit my 08 e90 335i? I looked at the chart on your webpage and it showed e90 2009-2010 but nothing for 2006-2008.

Also when will these new improved design be shipping?

Pre-LCI takes the Lux 5.0, not the Lux H8. 2009+ E90 sedans have a different bulb type which necessitates the use of an H8 style bulb

For that vehicle you would need these
http://www.namotorsports.net/detail....t_cd/MDSLUX5.0

currently those still are using the 6000k color. That set is in stock also.

Marc,

Is this going to be a permanent change, or just for the next few sets?

its actually hard to say.... I can only order the LED's that are in stock at any given time, so when they are in stock i make sure to order a lot , aka 1000 of them.

So if I pre-order now, I get them late Feb for sure? Would love to at least have them in March, we will get some nice 60F+ days to install them, and then I can at least have them in for Mfest...and my other planned goodies hehehe

Unfortunately no - the design of the the LED's and everything will be completely different, so theres no way to change. Your best bet would be to sell the ones you have and pick up the new ones.

I'd love to see a comparison b/w the old ones and new ones. I was never 100% happy with the hot spots and uneven ring lighting on the old version, though I kind of doubt that it is even fixable given the design of the rings.

We will try to get some comparison pictures up as soon as we can. That probably wont be for a couple weeks though, seeing as the new version hasn't hit our shelves yet.
