Words cannot describe how great methanol injection is .. ! I installed it yesterday, and have been doing some testing since .. car feels fantastic.

I rigged up a temporary mount for the tank, in the trunk. I will be replacing this with a larger Devil's Own tank in the near future. The pump fits nicely in the little storage hole, and the entire install (except tank) is hidden with the cover on.

Routing the power and meth lines through the car was very easy; BMW even left a nice little rubber nipple in the firewall, almost perfectly designed for methanol

I attached the little wiring diagram I made the other day for this install -- it's so cheap and easy, everybody needs to do this!

During my testing, I used up quite a lot of meth, but I think under normal mixed driving conditions, a tank should last a week or 2. I went to Canadian Tire again, and now I have 4 tubs of meth sitting in my garage; that should last a couple of months! The meth is mixed 50/50 with distilled water.

Meth kit was just $429 -- that included the Fail Safe Box (integrates with JB4), plus a shade over $500 for the ER charge pipe & BOV.

If anyone in Edmonton has a modified suspension and wouldn't mind taking me for a ride, I'd like to check out your setup. I'd assume the kits for my car cross over with the 335's. Thanks.

I wouldn't mind taking you for a spin, I have kw v2 on my 335i but one of my lowering perch is broken so its making a bit of clunking noises. still rides good but if you want I can take you after I get it fixed.

btw anyone around Edmonton recommend a good reliable shop to work on coilovers?

Just had V1's installed yesterday at Wheels Plus on the south side. They seemed pretty good and didn't quote me $1K for the install like everyone else in Edmonton.

Apparently somebody hacked his account and kept spamming the forums with stuff like "I'm Gay I'm Gay" ..

I told him he'd be better off selling the mods separately, but he wants to try selling the car as-is. Many people (non-enthusiasts) see modifications as a sign of an abused car.

Unfortunately, the value of our cars isn't that great these days either .. I've seen some hitting the market in the mid-high 20's ..

44k is way too high for a used 335 with that many mods...you can buy a used M5 with few more grands.

I've been shopping around for my 335xi to see where's the best place for us Edmontonians to get KW V1s within a reasonable timeframe and price. Can anyone suggest any shops locally, or online?

Got mine done at Wheels Plus. $500 for install and the cheapest I could find around the city.

That's pretty good, does that include alignment?

I was also asking where is the best place to order a set of KW V1 coilovers, if anyone can chime in on that, it would be great!

I'm from Edmonton, and awaiting the delivery of my 2008 335XI sometime next week. I've driven japanese cars all my life and am comming from a 2004 WRX STI stage 2 (which is for sale btw). Can't wait to experience and learn more about BMWs.
