I tried, but the windows were *way* too shiny. I could barely make out the window sticker behind the glass. The leatherette looked surprisingly comfy though! Can't wait to get my butt in my cheap-o seats.

Funny that you mentioned it... I didn't even remember to check out the gray poplar, not that I would have been able to see it anyway. I was busy checking out the shifter and the seats. Didn't look at the steering wheel/gauges/middle console either. The rear seat's middle console stood out to me though. I didn't want to spoil the official experience yet, so I only peered in there for a good 30 seconds or so.

But yeah, from the other pictures I've seen, the gray poplar goes incredibly well against black seats/dash. I'll try to get you some pics of it tomorrow so you can see it before your delivery on Wednesday.

Just remembered something too, about the alarm. It's $100 cheaper for the convertible - not sure why. I'm sure there's info about it in the DIY thread (here: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1487). So yeah - it'll only run you $130 shipped

So far it is just Raz5219 and myself. He is much closer to the VPC than myself so I imagine he will get first word.

Heard from my CA today. My car is arriving at the dealership at 4:30 today:rocks: However I won't be able to pick her up until Thursday as they have to install the rear spoiler

I'm almost tempted to say screw the spoiler I want my car! hehehe

BTW: I counted up the weeks, it will have been 13 weeks since I placed my order!

My car was delivered to my dealer this morning, right when I got there in the morning it was right up front

. I'm not going to be taking it home until thursday or friday because we're pretty busy this week. I took some pictures quick today and i just thought I'd share them.

I have a set of Blacklines that I'm going to install right away when I PDI it.

Ordered my car on 4/28 and I believe it came over on the Freedom since it's been at VPC for over a week now (for a time I thought I was on Patriot). Now I see where ya'll are getting your cars this week and I get to wait 2 more weeks because I'm doing PCD. So my car is just sitting there...waiting...

PCD still looks like a lot of fun so I hope it's worth it!

Oh my god, you guys that haven't got your cars yet, I know this doesn't help but it was SO worth the wait! Seriously this car is just unbelievable, everything.. The suspension, the transmission, the exhaust note, the lighting, I could go on forever. I posted a ton of pics here: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=71590 Bimmerforlife, your gray poplar shots are in there

The car instantly felt like it was on rails after getting rid of those pos run-flats... Hardwired the V1 today too and popped in my ZSP knob.. took about 10 minutes.

Life is good.

Falken FK-452s, and they've worked out awesome so far. Low road noise, handling is amazing, and the ride quality is still perfect even considering the tiny sidewalls.

It's so cool to see all of us finally getting our cars. Yes, it is worth every minute of the wait. This car is even fun to drive while breaking it in properly. I've had a bunch of pretty nice cars, and this one easily ranks #1.

I think I'm married to another founding member.

My wife asked me last night if I love the car more than her. I hope to give her an answer in a few weeks. I think I need some more alone time with the car before I can make that kind of decision.
