PROcede DARK has less HP/TQ (actually less than the PROcede v1.47 s/w) and cannot be updated (just install and forget about it) unlike the PROcede v2.0. It can however, be upgraded to the full-blown PROcede v2.0 at a later time for additional $$.

I guess you missed Shiv's real "update" post; here it is...

Thanks or the response, so it sounds like I should order the full product. If I order today, am I ordering V2?

no, you have to order a v2 upgrade which will put you one a 5+ week waiting list

Currently, the PROcede v2.0 upgrade is only available to current PROcede 1.4x customers; however, you can order PROcede v1.47 AND "v2.0 upgrade" but you may have a bit of a wait (for the v2.0 upgrade), I believe??? Check with the guys at Vishnu Tuning.

Need to order 1.47 then the v2.0 upgrade harness, or wait for them to release v2.0 as a stand alone unit. The latter will probably take a at least a couple months.

Cool, so I am really new to this, but based on everyones response. It seems the best bet is to buy 1.47 not the dark and then order the v2 update. I can install 1.47 and wait about 5 weeks or so for the v2 upgrade and then install that. Is that correct. So pass on the Dark?????

That sounds about right, and yes, most ppl here would advise you to go for the full-blown PROcede, unless you're not comfortable with having ALL the extra power or you're worried about your car's long-term future (not that your car is absolutely in jeopardy of any particular failure in the long term, but who knows).

Yeah, well it's a 2 year lease so I should be fine. How does his effect warranty? Does it need to come out when the car is being serviced? Might seem like a dumb question but just wanted to make sure.

It's really up to the dealer to decide if and when you would make a warranty claim.

If you want to hide the fact that you have been modifying the factory ECU control, then yes.

Welcome to the club!

Now your wait begins. What did you order?

BTW, removing the PROcede for service is not a big deal. Besides, the car doesn't go in that often for it to matter much anyway!

Since I live right across the Bay from Vishnu I didn't bother with the overnight shipping, figure even UPS can't screw this one up too badly.. (Well then again).

UPS could find a way to jack it up for you, I hope not, but 'brown' sometimes leaves a lot to be desired.
