Thanks,

For just a few bucks more you could do a pro E Tune, or Pro tune on top of the COBB. Even with ACN 91. If you have access to 93 and or E85 pump you can really maximize your power.

Your best bet is to just stay what is recommended from COBB. S1 Agg. Is your best if you have access to 93. S1+ Agg. Would be your next step, added FMIC.

+1, without supporting mods nor proper fueling stick to what COBB recommends. You can probably get away with higher power maps but it won't be consistent and you're overstressing your car and riding its knock sensors.

Lucky you!! Cleaning up throttle closures I presume?

No I'm screwed... Oregon

I'm filling up with E85 tomorrow just in case. Even if I get 5 minute of dry pavement i'll do a quick run because I really want to finish the tuning so I can dyno. There is an HPF event tomorrow that I might attend, Might dyno even with throttle closure...

yeah, probably down to where the DME can clean up itself. But I will wait and see what Dzenno comes up with.

Didn't you get the memo. I am partially banned for saying BB word.

Half my post can be PMs, but they won't let me.

My IATs don't go higher than 90 in this weather, love it.

LOL only if I am stationary for like half an hour or so like when I was waiting in line to get into the dragstrip.

Daily driving with the Helix FMIC, I never see IAT's over 110F in 90-100F weather. (And I view this in real time with my P3 gauge).

Yep, even at the end of pulls. I still have the stock intake box, so that maybe another factor why it doesn't increase that much over time.

yeah, DCI does get that hot engine bay temps. But I prefer that over a drop in, need that suction.

Yeah, just testing to see how fast I can go with the stock box. With the OTS Stage 2+FMIC map, I have gone low 12's@116-117mph. I want to see how I do with the OTS E30 map from Cobb on stock box before upgrading though.

Same results here,
Also has anybody else found that once you try the new race maps and firmware that you don't trap any higher than the 2+ maps? and then when going back to the 2+ maps you cant even come close to what you originally used to do on the 2+, and now find you have to use the race map to achieve what you normally were able to do on the 2+ maps???

Ragingpanda, let us know how things turn out.

Well in Cobb's defense the race maps are still in beta, but yeah I'll report my times when I get the chance in a week or two. I still have my old v301 Stage 2+ which is the map that has consistently netted me 116-117mph trap speeds.

Are you saying that the old v301 Stage 2+ map still give you better results than the v402 Stage 2+ maps?

No, I actually never tried the v402 Stage 2+ maps. I never had any issues with v301 to begin with so that is why I stuck with it and was happy with the performance. I was saying that it always gave me consistent 116-117mph traps unless I was heatsoaked from waiting to stage.

When I first flashed the e30 map, I wasn't overly impressed, but as time passed it really woke up and feels more powerful and smoother than my old v301. I'll have to test it though to see if my butt dyno is accurate lol.
