And a lot of custom programming, flashing, and coding. It's all functional as it would be in a M3 except for MDM and Mdrive at this point. Activating MDM and Mdrive is next on the list but it requires a custom hybrid IKM0S/INA0S ROM.

That looks amazing, what'd you use?
I clayed the car to make it smooth, then used multi step paint correction to remove all medium depth scratches and swirls. I used a polisher and wet sanding in some places. You just have to start light on the polishing pad. If the swirls/scratches are not gone you just have to be a little more aggressive with the polisher.

My car is dark red (vermillion red) so every scratch shows easy in sunlight unfortunately

Replaced my leaking H&R rear shocks with Bilstein B8.
I also noticed that the road salt have messed up my suspension, so I have to consider to drop the rear subframe and do some sandblasting and painting.

Was having some serious no start issues due to a failing ground strap.

Couldn’t remove the ground strap, so I installed a second engine to chassis strap for good measure

Installed these shifter boot and hand brake boot. $20 from Poland shipped. Stole the idea from GRUESOM3 Link if anyone wants it:

A subtle change but enough to notice

Where did you get B8's? They are supposedly very difficult if not impossible to get until August.

Installed a eonon ga9165a so far no complaints. Loving the option to watch YouTube and stream audio finally and to be able to pick up phone calls. All the extra stuff is a bonus that will have to learn little by little since I'm use to iPhone

I also just got done doing a long detail. I spread it across two days: 4 hours Saturday, 4 hours Sunday.

- Clay bar
- VSS scratch and swirl remover with a medium cutting pad
- V38 polish with a light polishing pad
- EZ Creme glaze, by hand
- Two layers of JetSeal, by hand

I'm very happy with the results. There are deeper scratches that need to be removed with a much heavier cutting pad, but I need to really dedicate a good 2-3 days to something that detailed. It sure is a lot of work, and a lot of careful cleaning. I can see why detailers charge so much.

Interior detailing with mini vacuum attachment. Cleaned leather seats, and rubbed leather conditioner by hand.

Also, changed the oil yesterday.
