"Tack...tack...tack - damn, bad sector"

Trivia: my 5.25 floppy drives used to have an open/close lever instead of a push button.

And BMW use brown as negative for anything other primary 12v feeds and use green / yellow ( universal earth colour ) for positive VE + on cig lighter on many models.

Get off my lawn! My last resume is saved on an 8-inch floppy disk...single-sided, single density, a whopping 241K maximum space.....

Really you think remembering computer floppies makes you old?
Using this in college makes you old!

When I went to take the ham radio license test and a subsequent license upgrade test in the not-so-distant past, the instructions said that you could bring a calculator or slide rule for the exams. The proctors (who were way older than me) commented that they had never seen someone bring a slide rule to the test before. FWIW, I got a perfect score on both exams.....

Like that you've a photo to share!

We had our 44th last Friday (also my 75th birthday), but not with any photos available to share.

Great photo. One of the advantages to being old and also being with the same partner is that you get to have photos together when you were young.

My wife and I just celebrated our 51st Anniversary. Here we were back in 1970 or so, a couple of years before we got married.

If I've posted this photo before it's because I'm old and I forget!

That’s great! Congratulations! I think you’ve been married the longest here in OT; at least as far as who has reported here in this thread so far.

Hope your wife is doing okay. Best wishes to both of you.
