I did well on the interview for my summer internship! I start after my Spring semester ends. I just signed up for the internship course since it's an official course. Just paid the $980 fee too.

What a rip, for 2 units. If I had more time I would take a class just for the hell of it since it would be basically free. (1-6 units =$980).

I just need to go to the outlets to pick up more polo shirts to wear while interning since they don't want to be too formal, but a bit casual at least.

dont get T1R's at all costs. Knowing that you do track these tires will not last you 12k. if anything, maybe the eagle GS-D3 or PS2 although PS2's are pretty expensive to keep replacing.

When I submitted my resume to the company, it was pretty short. My schools, GPA, awards I've got, clubs I'm in..but no real life experience.

Hopefully I'll be able to make it to Steve's place to get some food now since the interning place is in Pasadena so it won't be too far.

I saw your post about the Eagle GS-D3s.

I don't like the looks of the Eagles hehe... Maybe I have a thing about Goodyear.

Yeah, PS2s are expensive. My buddy Mike (Purple All Sectors) just priced his fronts out at Tire Rack... $316 for the fronts each *sigh*... close to $400 for the rears each.

i just got a set of Kumho Ecsta MX's. After reading the reviews and Ray telling me they are great for noobbss because it gives plenty of warning before it breaks loose. Also because its easy to control once the traction is broken loose.

if you didnt know, Ray is a track junkie himself.

+1,000,000. T1R's are popular because of the rounded edge so you can avoid rubbing. They are soft tires, great for the streets. But they suck badly at the track, they will give out very soon. I had T1Rs on my Advan TCII's that my friend used for a track event, he parked the car after 1 round because tires were gone, lol.

No freakin way! I have the Kumho ECSTA MX's on my E46 LOL... My 2nd set. Best good cheap tire out there hehe...

If treadwear is not TOO much of a problem for you, i would take a look at the Dunlop Direzza Z1 Star Spec. Its a brand version of the Z1 but the reviews have been great. Most state its better then the RE-01R's.

Also, the Hankook Ventus RS2 is very popular with the JDM scene. Plenty of S2k people run it and love it compared to the Bridgestone S-03

hahah nice! i literally JUST put it on today. Is it just me or is the road noise pretty loud? i mean i usually dont complain about this stuff, but its almost to the point of being unbearable. Maybe once its broken in it will be fine.
