FWIW, you can try SPP. Eric is great and he can pretty much get you whatever you want.

Get the tires WJ4 was talking about haha.

If it was any other person, i would say T1R's should be fine, but knowing that you do track, i dont think they will be the right tires for you.

I'm thinking the first video.

The 2nd video looked a little too obvious, and this sounds like a trick question LOL...

My 2nd guess would be "neither" hehe...

^That is what I thought as well. That's what he said when I asked him during the time he came back to talk to us about how life after school. But he was a special case, did more than the required 180 hours. He probably interned there the whole year before he graduated. So I guess they really got to like him.

The drive is going to kill me though, lol. I already have a hard enough time driving to the Camarillo Outlets, but if I were to intern there..I'd be doing that same drive multiple times a week.

I'm just glad that since there's some alumni's there that we sorta know..it will (mostly) avoid us from doing 'bitch work' aka filing and do real stuff.

Another possibility is an internship at Budweiser's, which is pretty close to me. But I'm more interested in Amgen than that.

I just don't have the heart to spend money on good grippy tires because 1. since we run staggered set up, you can't rotate the wheels to preserve the life and 2. the camber in the back sucks so they're going to be prematurely worn anyways.

Call me a superficial wheel snob LOL...

Come to think of it, i really dont know any other tire that is as "squared" off as T1R's. Maybe you should try them out Mike and see how you like them. i cannot comment on performance as i have never personally owned a vehicle with T1R's, but i have plenty of friends with them and they dont even last 10,000 miles.

LOL, yeah. That Budweiser! I use the 118 to get to the 23, or is it the 14? Must be getting late, lol..one goes to Camarillo and the other goes to Vegas, anywho I just hate how it's a 2 lane freeway and usually there are 2 slow cars blocking both lanes!

Lawrence- I remember a guy at a local America's Tire measuring the meat of my rear tires and said they're shot. He said he can 'hook' me up for about $700 installed for the rear. I told him that I would think about it, yea right, lol.

It's funny how fast we go through tires as oppose to the general people who have their tires for a good 30k+ miles.

Do you guys think one of those cheap scissor jacks is good enough for me to use to change my rims once in a while? Or should i just wait till i have enough money for a low pro jack.

Scissor jacks can be had for like $20. Heck i think my moms lexus has on in the trunk for spare tire changing so i can have it for free. And a low pro jack is upwards of 100.

im only going to swap when i need to go on long distance trips. i dont want to rack up miles on the Kumhos AND i dont want to get stuck in the middle of no where so i will swap to 189's with runflats.

+1...
if I was tracking, i would not want to run the T1R's, the sidewalls are just way too soft compare to other comparable tires in its class. They're great tires for the street in my personal experience. I know other guys haven't had great luck w/ treadwear, but my treadwear has been great on this car and my g35 coupe ( especially compared w/ my ps2's and S03's back in the day). For me they perform well in the wet and dry, and are decently quiet, even after about 10k miles on 'em.
