Hmm, interesting, but not sure about it. Looks like it drops the intake in nearly the same place as the Injen, but without the Injen duct that directs the air flow over to it. It makes mention of using the brake air duct but I would think the filter would have to drop down lower in front of the wheel well liner like the UR Cold Air Intake. If you like this one, get the Injen. If you like the price, get the BMS.

Ok, so I was talking with a guy at the office today about some mods. Does the 335 have two sets of cats? I was looking at some catless down pipes and he made mention of inspections in IL. If I wanted to go less restrictive would I have to go with race cats on the down pipes or could I get away with catless down pipes and rely on the secondary cats? My concern is passing any emission inspections.

I was thinking that in IL they had cut out the inspections but wasn't real sure. Also read somewhere that someone had taken their 335 to a dealer and if the dealer spots any illegal modifications to the emissions system that they have to report it. Apparently this resulted in a $5000 fine of some sort. Sounds like some urban legends, but concerns me none the less.

Also, just talked with Tony and I am in for the flash once I get the refund check.
