No I havent... I am never going to detail my car again... lol well if I do I'll make sure I have ample time and shade... I ended up just doing my hood, my roof, and my trunk... geez. haha I'll contact a few shops and see who they refer me to.

I took my two-week old car to Detail Plus in Sunnyvale (www.detailplussunnyvale.com) to get some some bird poop etching out and they did a fine job. This is the second time that we've taken a car to them (first was about 6 months ago that had hard water spots caked on a jet black 325i). Check them out..the manager Jeff is very friendly and will answer all of your questions. 408.738.1888

I had my clear bra installed by Jeremy. Workwise the result is average. He
also chipped the paint of my new freshly painted bumper at the corner, and
he was trying to deny it. He made a mess out of one film as well and he
didn't have a spare with him so I had to waste another hour for him the
following day. If you have a black car and you are looking for the ultimate
result or you are a perfectionist, then Jeremy is NOT your guy.

I also had my tints installed by Gerardo of automall tint factory in Fremont.
I did Huper Optik 40% at the back and 50% on the sides both front and rear.
Very professional and the result came out 99,999% perfect which is all that
you can expect from a tint job. Very satisfied and happy with the guy and
his job. Highly recommended.

3-4 hours probably?? It depends on how many cars are in line before you. Last time I went, I dropped off the car around 7:40 and got a call that the car was ready around 12.

Do they remove the glass and bake the tint on like California Auto Tinting does, or is it applied on the car itself ?

AutoTintMallSpecialist do not bake it onto the car itself. They take off the top window trims off and tint from the bottom to the top for that clean look.

From all the places listed... I believe CA Auto Tinting is the only one that bakes...

Agree that Jeremy's work on my car was not superb, he had to pull film and reapply leaving stretch marks, also when he applied the film to the OEM lip for the E92 he left a gap along the lowest part of the lip - ie area most prone to damage..

he did seem like a very good guy and easy to work with - also I don't have a great point of refence as far as other people's work

I went to Darwin's CarLab today to get my angel eyes done--yes I know I could have done it myself if I had a jack. Real nice talkative guy... I believe they do some body work too but I don't think they paint...

I saw a Black Kerscher e90 with Front, Skirts, and Rear apron + Vorsteiner Hood, roof spoiler, and oem deck spoiler there on DPEs?--i think. He also told me it had Einsenman Exhaust... & that the kit didn't fit very well--it looked pretty good to me.

Like the rest of the people who went to him to get stuff done, I would recommend him. I believe he can do suspension, body work (not painting? probably outsourced), fabrication, engine modification, exhaust...

the black e90 has the rieger kit and iforged wheels.... the owner of that car is a member but he has never posted any pics on here b4...
