The Stoptech big brake systems are the best brake for the buck.
There are cheaper systems out there, but if you want a performance brake upgrade that is streetable, trackable, and lighter than the stock brakes with many different pad compounds available, Stoptech is the way to go. IMO

You can not compare a production brake kit against the Stoptech sport BBK, the oem kit's performance does not come close!

Give us something closer to compare - Brembo, Stoptech, Alcon...then we are heading in the right direction.

If you are tracking your car, consider a BBK for easy pad changes, less unsprung weight, and more thermo capacity!

One more thing to consider when you're comparing Stoptech to other BBKs.

Stoptech has one of the stiffest calipers in the industry. They are forged (or semi-forged) calipers compared to most others that are cast.
The Brembo kit that is comparable price wise to the Stoptechs is not forged, but cast (the GT). To get forged calipers from Brembo you need to get into their GTR set-up, which is about $15K F/R MSRP. Just looking at the calipers (GT vs. GTR) you can see the difference.
Do a search on Brembo GTR and you'll see.
