Your CA will be able to provide all details throughout the entire process (more so than the genius line). With that being said, you cant determine anything with your car on the assembly line. You wont know what ship until you car gets to the port in Mexico and is assigned/loaded onto a ship. |

This may be a common. I'm sure your car was competed 2 days ago and waiting for Transport. What I am seeing is that at this stage, it may take 7 days to update on the tracker. These cars do not take more than 2 days to complete. Feel free to email BMW Genius
Edit, already resolved. |

I will say this once as it has been said many many times in multiple posts. Believe me if you want as it makes no difference to me (I have my car and have been through the process multiple times)...the genius DOES NOT have the most accurate, most and most up to date information to provide. You need to be going to your CA (they can run a VIR as your sales person), they are the ONLY ones who have the most accurate and most up to date information on your car, from start to delivery.

My status changed to 150 a few days ago for production date February 22nd. That's one week earlier than I originally expected! I was also assigned a VIN, which sounds like my body panels have already been assembled? Does that always happen with status 150 or does it vary? |

Then the annoying part begins, waiting a unknown amount of time on a train and then on a ship. I think people know which ships carry cars and make the trip from mexico to the east coast so they watch for them on ship trackers. At least there's no hurricane in teh gulf or something to mess with things |

My CA called to say my car is at the port in Galveston this morning.
I just checked the website, and it says it is "in transit" (status 195) as well! I had been checking the website a couple of times a day, and hadn't seen anything other than "ready for transport" (status 165). Now, we wait to see how long it takes at the port for the port installed accessories. I never even found out that my car was on a ship or anything... |

And then all of a sudden, I'm apparently at the 2nd "in transit" stateside. So I have no clue which of the ships it was on and totally missed that part of the process. LOL |

So after seeing your post, I did want to double check and make sure which of the "in transit" steps I was on: before being on the ship, or after.
So I called the Genius and they said I've been on a vessel since the 16th and was due to land today. Ship name: ARC Resolve |

Interestingly, my target production date since reaching status 150 has jumped around four times in less than a week. It went from Feb. 23rd, to the 21st, to the 22nd, and now the 26th.

I guess I don't actually know how much it moved (if at all) because I wasn't doing the chrome extension that shows it easily until after that part of the process. I was calling the Genius line, but not frequently, and they were telling me the scheduled production date. |

I'm not sure how they determine the dates, but my car status changed to "entering the assembly line" on the 23rd, one day after I posted that the production date was set for the 26th... Clearly these dates are just rough estimates and shift around a lot.
