I think it will be massive if he can get it somewhat close to the Superbowl. Buuuut then again we do have Jerry Jones as an owner...

I stopped watching other than some news highlights. I did see the end of Brees/Brady games. I dunno, just not the same to me anymore.

Speaking of stadiums, what's the deal with Hard Rock Stadium in Miami? They had a power failure in half the stadium that knocked out the broadcast for a significant chunk of the second quarter (missed two touchdowns). Did they hire electricians from the New Orleans dome to wire the place? To add to the 2020 weirdness, they also had to clear the field right after the third quarter started for a ~half hour lightning delay.

Although I am not a fan of Dallas (XXVII and XXVIII), I have to give their special teams coach credit for that onside kick play design. Atlanta was the first victim, but Dallas will ultimately be the loser because every other team in the league will be practicing it on Tuesday to copy it from both sides of the ball.....
That onside kick was lost by the Falcons, just like the game itself. Atlanta players stood there and waited for the ball to go 10 yards when they didn't have to. From what I read, receiving team doesn't have to wait for the ball to go 10 yards, kicking team does. Just fall on it!

Exactly! And I'm a Cowboys fan. Even if it was a penalty (which it isn't), fall on it and make it a re-kick. That's the worst thing that can happen (besides giving it back to Dallas LOL).

When they changed the rule that you can't get a running start on the on-side, I figured it was now done as a practical play. Then Dallas comes and makes it work

ONCE

That was my point above. I've seen a few onside kicks try the laying down ball to get funky hops, but never recall seeing someone do the flat/spinning ball on artificial turf that I can think of. It seemed to catch Atlanta off-guard, and even if one of their players tried to grab it there was a real possibility that the speed of rotation would have sent it scurrying off into a rugby scrum unless they dove onto it like a live hand grenade. With the new kickoff rules, onside kicks using the bouncing ball were essentially rendered ineffective. This spinning ball thing has some potential, but only time will tell what the recovery odds are now that every special teams coordinator in the league will be coaching it from both sides starting tomorrow.....

I think they will find a way to play the odds.

Maybe more hang time to allow kicking team to make a play?

They'll figure it out, especially since the rule isn't going away.

Cowboys Defense is absolutely horrible! Giving up an average of about 33pts. per game.

He still has a few mental breakdowns and rough edges coming into year three that leave pucker marks in the couches of the faithful Bills Mafia, but he has shown that he can learn from most of them and the game is obviously slowing down enough for him where he now has time to think in the pocket. I like seeing some of that Jim Kelly swagger starting to show.

The one thing that I noticed about the Bills this year is that both Josh Allen and the receivers are handing touchdown balls to the O-line players to spike in the end zone. I *really* like that show of support for the linemen who generally don't get to share the glory, and suspect that it is one of the things that is building this team's chemistry and building a winning culture again in the 716.

Next up: Viva Las Vegas, baby!!!!!
