David - to piggyback off of RPW44 post will there be a big difference between running ARC-8 17 x 9 et 30 with 245/40/17 on a e92 vs. e90? The stock tires i have are 225/45/17 on the style 194 wheels. Front is 17 x 8 et 34 and rear is 17 x 8.5 et 37. My goal is to get a little more meat on the tires and it seems like my car has enough fender clearance.
If I decide to lower the car with kw1 the minimum lowering for front is 0.6 inches. I really do not want to run any camber plates. Thanks! |

David - What is the most aggressive option for a square setup on e92 xdrive for a 17inch and 18inch maximizing rubber on tire to protect rim? Not lowered, no rolling fenders, no cambers

As for the 18" diameter, the only 9" wheel offered is the 18x9" ET42, which would require a spacer in both the front and rear, usually a 12mm. The fronts require the spacer for proper clearance of the strut with a 255/35/18 street tire, while the rear needs it so that the rear wheel tract of the car is in the proper place. There is the 18x9" ET31 that fits similar to the 17x9" ET30 ARC-8, but that fitment is only available for the EC-7 and PS-7 wheel models.

There are a number of wheels arriving by the end of the month, and some more a little after. There are multiple shipments including different wheel sizes and styles, with some arriving sooner than others.

Hi I am looking for the proper wheels for my e93. I am defently wanting a concave offset and also am wanting to run a 265+ in the rear if possible. I am on stock suspension as well. What do you recommend for me? Thanks in advance!

For the ARC-8s, you would go with the 18x8.5" ET38 (Profile 1) and 18x9.5" ET35 (Profile 3), which would only allow for a concave rear. These will be the direct fitment on your car, but if you want it completely flush with the fenders you may need small spacers. The spacer size is dependent on the actual tires you put on the wheels, as different brands will have varying widths. Most people measure the clearance they still have after they have installed the wheels with tires on it for the best aesthetic look and flushness. We would recommend the 235/40/18 and 265/35/18 street tire sizes. Some customers have fit a 275/35/18 in the rear of your car, allowing for more rear traction, but that requires fender rolling for proper clearance.

The finish of the ARC-8's on that Space Grey e90 is Hyper Silver. The Hyper Silver and Satin Black finishes seem to be most popular for that color car.

In order for the 17x9.5" ET35 to fit on the rear of your car on stock suspension with 275/40/17 drag radials, you would need to at the minimum roll the rear fenders and dial in as much negative camber as you could with the stock rear control arms. If you do not want to dial in negative camber, the rear fenders would have to be pulled for proper tire clearance.

The ARC-8's only come in the Profile 1 and Profile 3 faces, so there is not a Profile 2 option for this wheel style. However, both the PS-7's and EC-7's do have a Profile 2 wheel fitment that would work on the front of an E90 LCI, as well as a rear fitment of 18x9.5" ET43 that would fit the 265/35/18 without a fender roll at stock ride height.
