Yes, H3 for the cornering and H8 for the Angel Eyes.

And the reason why the LED solution for the e92 is so costly is that it's not just a simple LED. It has to be SUPER Bright so the light reaches both angel eyes and making an LED that bright causes it to heat up and malfunction. There is a lot of work that goes into ensuring the LED stays cool. They use heatsinks and resistors and a lot of other shit I really don't know too much about. Personally, i went with the HID angel eyes because they are DEFINITELY the brightest solution out there. The new LUX LED for e92's is the only one that comes close to the brightness of the HID's but i don't like how white the LUX LED's look. You can get the HID's in dozens of diff temperatures from 2,300k all the way up to 20,000k.

Hope that helped.

e90 lci's with mtech bumper

official bulb code list

angel eyes=h8 35W bulb or h8 LED, your pick who you want to use

fog lights=9006 55W, mtec 9006 super white for OE headlight matching

and low beam's aka xenons are D1s, MTEC 6k would also be perfect matching

PS. all fully plug and play

I just bought a 2010 e92 and the manual says that the turn indicators are PY21Ws. Can anyone confirm this?

You're referring to the rear turn signals correct?

can Bus errors

Any ideas?
This is indicative of canBus errors caused by controller area network in your Bimmer. It has to do with LED resistor values not matching with Bosch controller's values. I got into same issues with my e93 production model of 09/09 which got the same erratic behavior. Either you got to install resistors or buy pre-matched, i.e. "error free" LED bulbs. This is most endemic on Bimmers more than other manufacturers.

A question please....?: the angels eyes on my e93 got are 35 watts H8 bulbs/each. How am I supposed to use the roadway side lighting feature with these behemoths bulbs? My battery will be flat in less than fifteen minutes. On my old '02 e46 parking lights were just small bulbs and day running lights were dimmed high beams.

if it is the same as in e93, then your best bet is to retrofit it with a Luxer1 (http://store.ijdmtoy.com). You got two pea size bulbs each side, but you need only one Luxer1, which would be the same set up for the front visor vanity lighting. If you are referring to the light at the bottom of the door, then it is a standard type 194 wedge. Contrary to what others have said, these locations are not influenced by canBus errors. Mainly you got to watch out for the dome & map lights which will give you a canBus error unless you use the one with built in resistor chip in-series to mimic incandescent bulbs, at least that has been my experience. Just pry it off gently, using a clean thin flat (or wrapped in electric tape to prevent scuffing) screwdriver from its top or bottom side. Once out, take the connector out, and then snap out the back cover. They are tiny, and girls fingers are better suited for this task than ours. I asked my wife who unwillingly agreed to dislodge the pea size bulbs, and snap in the new Luxer1 mini module.

Not all type led bulbs are same, even though they all look the same. I put red ones at bottom of the door sills. My best experience has been type 194 wedge lcd's from http://www.hidxenonlights.com I like them cauz they give a slight blueish tint, it is sort of cool. They are pricey, but once installed never had problems. I have been using since 09/09, their led bulbs are not influenced by canBus errors in all locations other than in front (e93) and in center domes for other body models.

HI, All,

I am in the process of changing the cornering front linner light bulbs on my daughters new 2011 m-sport pack 3 series coupe 330d which has xenon lights. The angel eyes are leds & the fogs are H11.

Now on my previous M3 e93 the cornering bulbs were a H3, on removing this bulb from the 330d it says E1 24watts, whats the go? is this european bulb numbering and I always thought they were a H3 35watt bulb anyway?

Has there been a change in the cornering bulb in the 2011 model?

You may come across the testing standards E1 mark. The E1 code denotes that the bulb has been tested in Germany, which is widely regarded within the automotive industry as superior. Should be H3....is that no where on there?
