If you're referring to a white interior I think you mean the color BMW calls Lemon. Its not exactly white, it is a very light cream or Vanilla color. VERY unfortunately its not available in the U.S. I would sooooooo get it if it was.
Otherwise if you mean white exterior, black interior that's available no problem I think. |

Ahhh, they call it Lemon?? Its nice !! My familly is in europe (amsterdam - netherlands) I wonder how much it would cost to buy it from there then ship it here.... luckily they drive on same side as in the US.
Naaa...just thinking of the word "shipping" and "us import taxes" I know im screwed.... waaaaa... i want LEMON !! Honestly, if one gets black leather and aluminum trim and adds enough aluminum interior accessories... i think it will look good. skimo |

new to this board. . .hello all. I am drooling over this new E90 and hope to save enough so that I can afford one in the next couple of years. My question is whether any of you have pics of the "Leatherette" interior and whether it's texture, durability is that much different from the premium leather that BMW offers. I test drove a 330i w/ 6spd/prem/sprt/ blk lth int w/ burl trim silver ext the other day and was totally blown away by this vehicle. . .seriously considering leatherette though. .

I have heard that the BMW leatherette is the best in the biz. Their leather is not, but it's still very nice. Have ridden in a leatherette bimmer hundreds of times and it has stood up well for years. Friends of mine swear by it. That said, you're paying 35-40 grand for this car. The leather adds a whole new level of luxury that you will never get in leatherette IMO. Durability, practicality=leatherette. But if you were interested in those things you probably would buy an Audi. I think you'll love leather way better, but many would disagree with me. If it's about the money and you're OK with no leather, I have a feeling you'll be very happy with the leatherette. I would sit in it, compare it to leather before you buy just to be sure. Odds are you're dealer will have a 5 series with leatherette that will compare to the e90's stuff. Good luck. sparky |

I've just been to the dealer, my opinion is to go for leather if budget is not so tight, the leather is such good quality, very soft on the surface, but supportive! the sales agent told me bmw use the same leather matherial from the 6 series and the stiching quality is first class. you will be spending a lot of time in your new baby, so don't do something you will regret.
I would't say audi has better leather finish, is nice, but in terms of feeling, audi seats are little bit too hard, infact both are very classy finish. (my brother owns an audi a4 with leather) |

Question for those folks who have actually seen Terra interiors in person: I can't tell enough from the fotos...is the base color more reddish or brownish? IE is it a red color with slight brown tones or just the reverse? TIA

I saw it yesterday. I would say it is more brown with reddish tones than the other way around. It looks MUCH browner than these photos. The eddiej photos on the first page are closer to reality, but still look a little redder. |
