Good to see VIP tuning making its official way into the forum. Cant wait for more products.
I ordered the VIP CAI 2 days ago. Once i get it in, i will show DIY pictures and then take it to the Dyno with my JB2HR FWIW, Mike, why is your's and Vip Tunings member names say "Banned" under them? Did you guys type that as a joke, or are you guys seriously banned?....Wait, if your banned, i guess you cant respond. |

I don't know if you know or not but forums like these are usually run for profit, not for the community. So he probably didn't cough up the cash so they banned him till he does.

so companies now have to be a sponsor of this forum to have their product reviewed by a consumer? And what is this crap about consumers not being able to share pricing info? I would love to hear some explanation from the mods as to why the OP was banned.

What?!?... the OP was banned?
I can see you banning a vendor if they are advertising their products and don't want to become a sponsor, but when a local customer (who is a regular poster on this forum) tells us about the parts that they are running, I don't see the problem with that.

I guess they will have to update their Forum Guidelines and state that, "Posting URL links is prohibited and will result in account termination!!" |

So with this line of thinking, ambiet air temps don't matter for turbo cars? So a turbo car will not make more HP on a 45*F day than it would on a 95*F day? The end result for AIT is directly connected to the ambiet temp of the air ingested. The temperature delta due to compression and intercooling should remain constant given other variables are constant. One way of determining this is to put utilize an open filter element in the engine bay and record AIT. Then reproduce the senerio with a CAI. I bet the AIT will be lower. |
