$3K to go from 325 to 328? That's a rippppppoffff IMO.
I think I might keep my 330.

Cant wait for CDN prices ! should be 55,000 which is a rip off too from 40 USD, the exchange rate is not 1.35 its 1.1 but bmw canada sucks and has shitty rates, i guess cause california buys as many bmw's as the whole canada. I might come get the car from the us for 12 grand cheaper!

who knows

I concur, that would be a ripoff. Better to get a 330i now then to wait for the 328. But, I don't think the sedans will increase as much as the coupes. You have to look at what the coupes are coming from - the old bocy styles and engines. The current 3 series sedans already had a price increase for the new body style and such. I think a more reasonable expectation would be about half of the current coupe increase, or about $1500.

So are we really paying for direct injection? In any case I feel somewhat vindicated by my low $40k base price guess. I don't imagine BMW will be selling too many of the 335's. $700/mo+ lease payment on the 335 onces it's optioned will be steep.

Not really, you are comparing two different cars...E46 vs. E92. E92 has new styling and new motor, so 3k doesn't sound that bad. Now, that being said, if the E90 328 increased 3k, that would be a ripoff.

total options came out to $9245 (This is ridiculous!!)

Still debating jet black or titanium silver.. After seeing the real pics of

titanium silver, it blew my mind. I love black but think that it looks better

on the sedan. Besides ti silver is easy to keep clean. The only other

dilemma I have is with what trim I want. Either aluminum trim or bur

walnut. This is a tough one. Any suggestions???

here's what I want
2007 335i coupe $40,600
titanium silver $475
black leather
sport pack $1000
cold weather pack $750
premium pack $2450
streptronic (should be a N/C option!) $1275
Nav $2100
Sirius $595
comfort access (should be standard or a N/C option!) $500
shifting paddles (should be standard with the sport pack!) $100

Ital Stal : Likewise, awesome to see another NNJ fan here. I grew up in North Haledon (next to Franklin Lakes) and I live in a modest place in Ringwood across 287. We should do a photo shoot together in September and post the shots.... choose a car that complements Space Grey LOL!

I think not.....Jesus, are we going to re-start this whole debate again? They are not going to give away two more doors for less money...the cars typically cost the same EXCEPT that one has Standard Sports Suspension & Fold-Down Seats.

The 330 Sedan will also be upped by $3K when it becomes the 335 Sedan.

Both the 335 Sedan & Coupe can be great deals, but I'm not interested to go E.D. in October or November. I'm not a big option's list guy but, I can definitely see how BMW is packaging certain things more economically.
It's probably safe to say that the 4yr ASSIST thing will propagate to all models.

Thankfully for me, my 545 lease isn't up until next spring. Targetting a 335 sedan with sport/prem/nav/htd seats/metallic paint/CA, but I will have to see what the coupe looks like next to a sedan. Currently I am leaning toward the sedan. Gonna go in mid-late may.

Yes, of course. When the normally aspirated D.I. motors come out there won't be any such major increase like this $3000. So in that sense, we are paying for D.I. in advance...

As far as us paying for the D.I. in the 335 well, the turbos & beefed up block cost extra too...

Nice find. I'm not in the market for a coupe, but I did build my ideal E92 to the tune of $45.5K

Yep. Wonder if the Asian competitors will also increase their prices.

If the 328i is a ripoff, then the former 330ci was what, grand larceny?

The 328i is a basically 330ci for over 2k less, and has a brand new body style to boot. It's a great deal IMHO.
