Ha ha, yea. Not the greatest, to say the least. I always end up waiting at least 20 min. before my car is even taken away and that's with an appointment! When I go to pick it up, I'm there at least an hour.

They give out great loaner cars though I must say, and they always do a courtesy wash so they make up for it that way.

I bought mine from Beverly Hills BMW. They were surprisingly nice. Didn't get a very good deal but still under MSRP (first week of May). At least they weren't pricks like the salesmen at Santa Monica BMW. As usual, no follow-up after the sale and no keychain.

Got mine at Sterling BMW in Newport Beach and didn't set foot in the place until I had to pick up the car. Pretty good experience. The internet manager was very responsive and helpful, although he wouldn't throw in a 645ci.

Well, the month is written on the inside of the door jam on the driver's side. I know the date because I ordered the car and followed its progress from order date to delivery date.

I leased a 330 through Pacific BMW in Glendale for $700 over invoice. Overall great experience. PM me if you'd like the salesperson's name. I also negotiated a little with the Internet Mgr at Century West BMW. The goinging rate was around $500 over for the 325 and $1000 over for the 330.

Purchased our 330 from Irvine BMW, mainly because it was close to our house. Awful, crooked tactics resulted in an overall miserable experience.

I bought mine from this guy, and actually the easiest car purchase I ever made. He gave it to me for $750 over invoice. My deal was done in 25min, Edmund Cronin is the man.

I bought mine from BMW SD, but I live in LA....so I was going to South Bay BMW. My previous experience was great...I took it in to get my rear spoiler placed. My service guy was awesome, got the loaner through enterprise (X3). However, the SA has now left this location. I have since then, returned once for them to do the front plate thing....and it was a terrible experience. I waited more that 15 minutes before anyone came out....I mean, I do not mind having to wait to get things done....but no one even acknowledged me, I was just waiting in the drop off area for anyone (not even a "we will be with you in a couple of minutes.") When they did come out...I got attitude from some SA about getting my front plate done.

Anyways...I have stopped by BMW SD while I was visiting my parents. I drove up to the service center, was greeted within a minute. I asked them about the windshield fluid (my low sensor had come on). They put new fluid in for me right there in the drop off area, checked on my oil status info (said I need to bring her in at 10K miles), and washed my car....all without an appointment! So...even though I was not terribly impressed by the sales people...the service people were awesome on my first encounter. I would be willing to go there again...might have to plan my service appt when I will be visiting my parents again. I have the new CIP update and the oil change at 10K to do within the next 4-6 weeks.

Yeah, I bought my 325i from BMW of BH. Nice sales guy, no follow up...the finance director there is easily irritated if a deal isn't as simple for her to push the freakin' "PRINT" button. I couldn't help but feeling like we were just "wasting" her time...then I realized...I'm in Beverly Hills...

Irvine BMW Sucks

Hey guys, I'm new here. And wanted to tell you that from what i've been reading, this is an awesome community!
Just wanted to throw in my 2 cends of Irvine BMW. I was volunteering at a blood drive at Tuttle Click Ford. I was talking to one of the sales person as he was waiting in line to get his blood drawn. One of the sales person(apparently got tired of fords) there had bought a BMW from Irvine BMW which was right across the street.
This is where the horror story starts. He brought in because the trasmission was slipping. Well, after much delay (days) they finally said they "fixed it". And after much haggling, the repair was at no charge. The vechical still didn't operate right. Well, it was later discovered by one of his good friends that a part was missing. You'd think that if the mechanic took 5 parts out, he'd put 5 parts in!
He had to make several calls to contact BMW NA just to get the problem to upper management! I dunno what the outcome was as it was left at "They'll either replace the vechical" or "I'll go to court and MAKE them replace it"

Anyways, thats good enough to keep me away from Irvine BMW. When I (hopefully) get my Brimmer it'll be from Sterling BMW because I haven't heard anything bad about them....yet.

Thanks guys for all the knowledge (I was reading up on how to do a custom install of the V1 Pop!

Sterling it is!

Thats awesome! So, I'm gussing Tina is internet sales? Did you go that route or just walk in? Also, how much should I expect to pay on custom ordered cars. I'm planning to go in for the 325xi.

Thanks!

actually. i dont know who the internet sales is. i did the internet thing with other dealerships and got the lowest price and then david and tina beat that price for me.

i dont know what to expect from them now but when i ordered my car back in july i was able to get it for bout 1700 over invoice. which at the time was not bad at all.

Thanks man. But, I always thought that internet sales were different from "walk-in" sales.

i think they are. i just didnt go the internet route at sterling because im good friends with davids brother and sister in law. when i was shopping around for a price i did hte whole internet thing with crevier and irvine because i knew the price from the internet department was usually going to be lower than the initial price of negotiating if i had walked into the dealer. once that got all situated i took the lowest price i was able to muster from the internet sales at crevier over to sterling with david and tina and they were able to sweeten up the deal

hope that makes some sense for ya.
