The bottom line is: you like what you like, and they like what they like.
Sure, I get that, not trying to convince anyone and fortunately, I don't have to be stuck in a brand loyalty or any other type of bubble. In fact, I am trying to have every cylinder count, drive train configuration, etc to have as much variety as possible in the garage. For now, I am out of space but when I build another structure..... I want every car to be fun but in it's own unique way.

the recent ctr's have always been praised how they can put down the power even in corner, with >275 front and lsd its great for most people. the big weight advantage and tuned, those things are a beast

pretty close to my trifecta->400hp, <3000lbs, manual

Too bad they're junk and quirky as hell. Makes me sad, I'd own one if it was made by a better manufacturer.

Took Delivery on Wednesday. It's great to be back!! As awesome as the type R is. I don't really want two manuals. I will probably trade it in. I'm looking at something AWD and New.

What I'm looking at so far. Audi S5 sport back, Golf R, 330i Xdrive.

I know, old post...

But, me too. I have a GM small block (auto). Then (all manuals) a N/A 4-banger, a turbo 4-banger, a 4-banger diesel, two BMW N/A in-line 6, and a flat-6. Love the variety. Coolest engine I have is a Stihl 4-Mix (Google it).

Truth. They buy cars like YT influencers How can one really enjoy a car if it's on to the next thing type mentality? It's always "This freaking car is AMAZING. It does everything so well!!!!" 6 months later "The car wasn't that great so I had to move on to (insert practical, faster, wife can't drive manual, small, more room excuse)". I know, it's not not my money and why should I care, but I find it amusing none the less. We all know one of these guys. Never happy with what they have.

The justification part is the best. It's fun to see which lame excuse will be trotted out next. Just keep it real and say you're tired of it and you want some new shit.
