Just wondering...
Has anyone seen the feature at BMW.com? When you click on Design Highlights, there is a static picture of the new E92. Is this picture of a Space Grey or Sparkling Graphite? Click on Proportions and there is a moving clip of the same colour. From the Visualiser, it seems that Sparkling Graphite makes the car look too dark and takes away some of the design elements. That's why I'm thinking that the photos I mention above may be Space Grey. But then again the Visualiser may not be all that accurate when comparing to real life/video images. |

Press release published in Autobild.de says the 335 i coupe will start at 43,200 Euros. With the Canadian exchange rate I used (1.42) that makes CAN$60,000. Typically the Euro prices are about CAD$7-10,000 higher. So I am venturing an educated guess at a $50,000-$53,000 Canadian dollars starting price for the coupe (about $5-7,000 more than sedan 330).
Our dollar buys about $0.83 US cents.....Food for thought guys. |

or this thread that has a Canadian person who ordered a well equipped 335 (ZPP, ZSP, Navi ,bluetooth, etc.) and the dealer gave an estimated price below $60k CAN http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=18263 Lets leave this thread for official info only. We’ll like it better months down the road if we don’t have to pour through irrelevant posts to look at official info... be it pricing or otherwise. |

Thanks for your post 3aficionado. My intention with this thread was that only the first post contain the "official" information. I'm constantly monitoring any info that may be posted in this thread and any other E92 threads and as real solid info comes across the radar screen I'll be updating the info in the first post. Hence, when real official pricing (or any other official details) becomes available, rest assured it'll be on the first post for everyone to reference easily (so they don't have to scroll through the multiples pages of this thread).

I guess I mistook the first thread as only asking for official/solid info to be posted.

325i ??
I have placed an order a few months ago before any info on the e92 had been released, but there isnt any info or talk on the 325i... the dealer was certain that a 325i was going to be available, so i ordered one of those, now it looks as if there will be only the 328i and the mad ass 335i... does anyone know if there will be a 325i...?
I went to a car expo today and spoke to a BMW idiot who knew nothing and he is saying that the 325i will be coming with the 335i, now should i believe this, i am in australia so it may be true here, but there is no info on it on any website... |

Jason, you forgot to add "668 Jet Black" as one of the option colors in your first post in this thread.

No problem - however the Euro prices ARE official, BMW press release. The exchange rate conversion into Canadian dollars is also official since I used posted rates. The educated guess is about the transliteration into US dollars, since pricing in Europe tends to be higher than in NA. But you can bank the Euro prices as the real thing. |

For example, an e90 330i is $47,900CAN. The current exchange rate on 4/25/06 is $1US to $1.13820028CAN. That puts the base price of a US e90 330i at $42,084US. Canadian prices factored on exchange rates is almost $5500US more than the actual base price of $36,600US. Add to that the Canadian e90 has fewer base options and the difference between the prices gets even larger. To apply that $5500US discrepancy between prices adjusted for exchange rates would mean the $50K-$53KCAN 335i will be $38K-$41KUS. ($50KCAN / 1.13820028CAN = $43,929US - $5500US adjustment = $38,429US) |

Just ordered my E92
I just put my deposit for the first E92 335 coupe at Westlake BMW in Elmhurst, IL.
BMW number 5 for me; '01 E46 330, '01 E46 325, '02 E46 330, '04 E46 330 ZHP. First 2 were totalled and the third was traded in for the fourth. I saw the pics you guys posted here and drove on down the street and ordered it. Bill

Confused...I thought that the two tires that come with sports package were said to be non-runflat, yet this chart shows all to be using runflat tires. Is this a difference between UK and US????
