uh help

ok i have 335i sport pkg.. and i want to drop it like 1.3 to 1.5 in front and the back just 1..to 1.2... which springs should i get? since i have sport pkg which one can gimme that drop? i understand sportpackage doesnt get as much drop as it should

Your best option would be either the H&R Sport Springs or the Eibach Pro Kit. The Sport springs will drop the front about 1.3 and the rear about 1.2 whereas the Eibach kit will be a bit lower than that all around.

Has anyone heard if H & R is planning to make a Cup Kit for the E92? I have run the Cup Kits on my e46's and perfect drop and ride w/sport suspension. It's like an eibach kit it, comes with the springs and struts to match. Absolutely swear by this setup, 19's will ride perfect with it and no rub. If no one knows I will give them a call on Monday and see if they have anything in the works for a CupKit for the E92.

Just got of the phone with an H&R tech he said they have no plans to make a cup kit for the e92 at the present time. their coilover kit would be the beat way to go rather than springs and shocks from another mfg. the H&R coilover kit is matched shocks for the springs.

Nick, are you saying that the H&R sport springs are going to lower a 335i coupe w/sportpkg 1.3 & 1.2 & the Eibach pro kit will do even a little lower? If sport pkg from factory lowers .6 already how are either one of those kits going to give you the drop you say, when they say right at either one of their websites that you will not get the drop stated if you have factory sport pkg. Just trying to fiqure out what will give me the drop to just get the tires to fill up the gap so they are just right at the fender lip and not tucked up in the wells. I carry a couple hundred pounds of crap in the trunk for my job and that not only makes the back sit a little lower but it makes the front sit a touch higher. Any suggestions for my situation. Also will be running 19-8.5F & 19-10R w-245/35 & 265-30, willing to roll fenders if necessary

for the bmw 335xi it's the same suspension as a 2006 e90 330xi or 328xi
hopefully this helps plus i got the same model and the suspension is to soft for me

Figure $300 for the springs, abouth $300 for the installation, and camber adjustment, and allignment,.........Around $700 or $800.

Hey everyone, i just bought the H&R sport springs for my 2008 335xi sedan. I didnt know you had to replace shocks as well. Anyone know of any sport shocks i could use. I am having a very difficult time finding performance shocks to pair up with the springs....i guess i should have gone with the coilover set. Anyone know what i should do...thanx


Also...getting the sport package on the xi does not upgrade the suspension at all right??

Cool ZSP the way to go

My advice:

DONT EVER BUY A BMW WITHOUT ZSP ( ZEE SPORT PACKAGE??)

Jokes aside, I'm living this regret right now, it saps a good 15-20% of the joy out of owning my beautiful piece of German engineering... Why:

1. Sport seats. They are amazing practically cost as much as the car to buy from BMW as parts.

2. Sport steering wheel, smaller and fatter and more aggressive style. Miss out and you'll be spending $2K on all the parts required... my understanding is the rim wont swap with the standard airbag.

3. Sport tuned suspension: shocks, springs,anti roll bars to my knowledge.. Lower and stiffer. Not huge difference but a nice compliment to bigger wheels.

4. Tighter ratio steering? ( this was the case with E36 and E46 not sure about E90)

So basically its driving control and ergonomics. The wheels and suspension, sure, its not worth it if you're going to change them... BUT for the seats and steering wheel... Helzya its worth the $1500.

If anyone wants to sell thier old sports package components I'M BUYING!

Any suggestions for

a smoother ride?

I'm driving an 07 335i with sports suspension and it is great, I love it ... but I have noticed a bit of bobbing over rough surfaces. I would rather keep everything as stock as possible but wonder if there is something to improve the ride smoothness.

My girl has sometimes complained of feeling a bit nauseous, not from the firm ride but from the small kind of bobbing motions. I've noticed it also.

I am wondering if a HD Bilstein or other shocks made smooth the ride.

Your suggestions are appreciated,

so from that chart of springs in the OP, the eibach sportsline seems to be lower then h&r race. however, it seems(to me atleast) h&r race seems lower then eibach sportsline when the springs are next to each other after they are installed, can anyone confirm this?

Greetings All,

I guess there is no better place to get the info I need better than here.

Basicly, I have changed my 16" standard wheels to 19" wheels.

Ever since. The car feel a little more wobbly at speeds over 140KM.

I did not feel this whobble as much before, Besides, The car feel a bit lighter.

Now, What is the sulution for such a matter.

I am thinking of installing (EIBACH PRO SYSTEM PLUS). Would that resolve the problem.

Also, Should the (EIBACH PRO SYSTEM PLUS) be better or (COILCOVERS).

And what is the difference.

I have an 06 330i with ZSP. Im trying to get a little lower to get rid of that damn fender gap. I would like to have a nice balance of aggressiveness and comfort. Not trying to spend too much.

Any suggestions?

Anybody have this already who can share their review?

1) How is the ride, compared to the stock sport suspension, in the softest and the stiffest setting?

2) Did it require camber adjustment?

3) Do you need to raise car to adjust the stiffness (1-10)?

3) Any Canadian retailer?
