Newcastle boys: How about a cold refreshing liquid arvo tea at the Beaches pub in Merewether on Sunday (2/9/12). 3pm?
Sydney boys welcome to drive up and see what a real beach looks like!

Well I have 'partially' sorted out my battery issue...
The guys @ Newcastle Auto Electrics have only just started stocking Bosch batteries, they were accidentally supplied the S3 (lower CCA and suited for early 90's cars with minimal electrics) by Bosch and since I was literally their first bosch customer they were unfamiliar with the product range. They called Bosch and then had the S5 sent out and the guys swapped it over today for me when it arrived. Bosch battery guide: http://www.bosch.com.au/content/lang...roch_Final.pdf So it was $190 fitted with 3 years warranty, pretty good value imo! So now I just have to get the new battery coded, hopefully by my friendly bmw dealer under the premium complimentary servicing package |

Well a few small updates.
Splurged and purchased a new bonnet badge as the original had a few small blemishes And a set of rim badges also Alca Blades as the existing blades are quite noisy (the car was only serviced 3 months ago I'm at a loss how BMW didn't sieze the opportunity to replace them and charge their usual inflated bmw inflated replacement parts price) A new set of plates (as I have to re-rego the car since I purchased it in Vic) Picked up some BMS spacers & DCI Ipod Y Lead ($10 HK ebay special!) And finally a Procede V5 is in transit! I shall purchase a set of AR DP's & LUX angel eyes from BMR Autowerkes shortly (and possibly a bmw performance SSK) & then have the car tuned Last edited by DR-JEKL; 09-10-2012 at 10:42 PM.. |

I have been awaiting for a set of used BS RF's to arrive to basically get my car passed for inspection, and am sick of waiting for them!
I have been thinking of selling the RF's off and going with a set of Goodyear asymetric 2's http://www.goodyear.com.au/dotCMS/Ty...&from=nPerPage http://www.jaxquickfit.com.au/blog/2...symmetric-2-2/ I have owned michelin PS & Conti Sports Contacts, and both were great tyres and these have recently taken out the motor mag tyre of the year award so they can't be too bad... Just wondering how a 265/30 will go with 15mm spacers for clearance.... |
