Exactly! If you havent done anything wrong then wtf are you worried/getting so worked up about. If there was murder in the area and the guy guy was driving the same car as you what do you expect the law to do? It would be irresponsible of them to not pull you over.

Dealing with a ticket is a bigger punishment than the ticket itself.

I got a ticket for a plate cover...110$ n blue side lights (100$).

Let's see, waiting several hours at the Markham office to set a court date, parking fee for several hours.

Than, another couple of hours during the court date and parking fee. WTF. It's cheaper to pay the tickets. This is why ( like someone mentioned ), be polite and avoid any tickets period. Even a 40$ ticket is 40$ down the drain when it comes to the amount of time we spend trying to "fight it"

P.s: The cop was just doing his job. No need to hate... I can see that it's mostly the young drivers that are hating on this thread. Sometimes the cop might not have any evidence but they are at least trying to educate the driver that can be clearly noticed as speeding. I'm sure most of you can tell if someone is speeding or not... And I don't think you all are carrying around a radar gun If I was a cop, I certainly wouldn't ignore ANYONE speeding off during a construction zone regardless of the side they were driving.

10-20km/hour over is speeding when the limit is already at 80. Compare that to a 70-80 on a 60 or even 50-60 in a 40km zone.

I'm with the cop on this one. And if the cop was following you for 2pm before pulling you over, it's most likely because he/she is pulling up your records from your license plate.

being spoiled and a brat are different from being cocky...

yes I admit I can be a little cocky but that's only on the cover, and I hate when people try to judge a book by its cover.
