There is suppose to be a fuse map . The icons are not straight foward in some cases. The first two links in the above link should answer a lot of questions. One of which is https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/ Have you checked for water on the amp yet. Also
see second link it tells you how to read the Logic 7 status led's (I think that was standard for an 07 335) If you have a tcu/mulf the mulf is under the tcu. Help with MOST System - "No Warning Tones"
2011 BMW M3 - E93 with Top HiFi and CIC display.
Try to keep this short, I ordered the AVIN Android display to replace my factory display. I pulled the original CIC display out and tested the Android unit using the splitter that goes on the back of the radio head unit, I didn't realize the Fiber MOST cable needed to stay with the head unit connection. I was getting no sounds. So I pulled the Android unit out and reconnected the original head unit and display back with the *original connections. I was getting sound again, now that I realized the MOST fiber cables needed to stay in their original location I tried to install the Android unit again. Now no matter what I do I can no longer get any sounds even with the *original hardware back in place. The Aux port does not display as an option anymore also. So researching it seems like the MOST system is not making a full loop. I ordered a test loop cable to try and isolate where the issue may be. I have checked all fuses that seemed relevant in the fuse panel, tried resetting the radio holding eject and power at the same time. The only other thing that was unplugged was the battery to install the new unit, I would think programming would not be lost doing this? Red light comes out of the fiber connection at the head unit but only when I disconnect and reconnect the battery for a few seconds, this light shows up coming out of the cable going into the amp in the trunk also. Right now I am not sure if it is a component failed component in the MOST system, like the AMP (I have no water in trunk, cars is garage kept), or another module in the trunk. Any help would be appreciate. Foxwell scanner reset MOST and diagnose shows no MOST errors for its test. Battery disconnected for hours then reconnected to reset MOST. *All original equipment is install back now until I can resolve it. Thank you for any ideas on how to test or isolate the issue. On BMW's with bluetooth and usb the aux and usb come from
a module known as the mulf 2 hi or ulf module or combox which is located under the trunk floor behind the US side rear passanger side seat. The signal for the sound are converted to Most signals then sent to the Head unit via fiberoptics. The actual wiring to the center console comes from that module in the trunk. The aux on the back of the radio is inactive due to the programming for 6fl. However if you ran off the aux in the center console that was still active it should work. This looks like you didn't hook the most bus back up correctly . Could the Foxwell scanner have screwed thing up maybe. There is a test port under the driver side dashboard panel for most is it connected as sometimes people do not reconnect it when taking things out and it breaks the most loop. https://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=347222 If you where working in the front there is about a 90 percent chance of that being where the problem is. Are you sure you got all the most cable plugged back in all the way and that they had no debris in them when you plugged them in. https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&rct=...49911656293161 seen entry 9 in the above thread. Thank you for the help!
Been driving me crazy.
I took some pictures of all the modules I have found and the loop you mentioned. I believe all modules are connected correctly, I have been testing for a week, looking for lights and using the loop I purchased. Fiber cable and connections have no debris, none are broken or kinked. I haven't tried to find anything in the center console MOST wise. I was using a thumb drive in my center console for music but now you know it no longer shows up. The unit stopped working before I used the Foxwell to run diags on the MOST system. This is the back of the original factory head unit, with fiber plugged in. The fiber only fits in one port oriented one way only. When I unplug the fiber and plug the main connector power back in I can see the red light coming out of the head unit. So I figure this is where it is generated. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1foM...ew?usp=sharing This is the AMP in the trunk, I see a dim flashing lights here when I reset the head unit, unless I remove power from the mulf the put it back it gets bright. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1AgS...ew?usp=sharing This is the Loop under the drivers side footwell, I just pulled this out today to take this picture. The light here is always bright. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1K8N...ew?usp=sharing This is in the module in the middle of the trunk, I am guessing it is the mulf 2 hi or ulf. Cable is dim in the picture. This light is generated from somewhere. Bright light can be seen coming out of the unit when I remove power then re-power on. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1DV3...ew?usp=sharing Can you tell me the order of the light from the source? I think it goes like this: 1 - Head unit - Generates signal (Very Bright - I see a flashing light on the connection inside the head unit with cable removed) 2 - Service Loop - Footwell (Very Bright when removed) 3 - mulf 2 hi or ulf - Trunk (Dim Flashing unless power cycled) 4- Amplifier - Trunk (Dim Flashing unless mulf is power cycled) Did I miss any modules? Thank you for helping, if I have to bring it somewhere I will, but I want give it a shot first. Lonnie |

About Foxwell scanners
https://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sh....php?t=1316775 Not likely that the rest of the Most Loop would blow up or short because you were working on the Front of the Car . (Because iti can't short) Did you have the head unit out . I thought the most connectors were keyed so you couldn't put them in backwards but you might check that at the Head Unit. I don't see how the what looks like a combox could go bad from just powering it up and down but I guess it's possible. There are some indicator light on the L7 amp that could tell you if it's getting a signal I believe. http://www.bmwlogicseven.com/?p=3837 In the above link scroll down to the part about Led indicators. This would be away to check the most connection. Last edited by ctuna; 02-10-2019 at 05:27 PM.. |

The Foxwell scanner works fine, have not had issues helps alot.
The connectors are keyed, at the head unit connector there is only one place it will fit in. I did pull the head unit out to install the new display. But it's all OEM now until I figure this out. I have to look at the LED's in the AMP. I wonder if it thinks it was stolen due to removal and locked itself somehow. If you think of anything I can try let me know. Thank you for all the time and help. |

Head Unit MOST Pins Pushed In - No Warning Tones or Sounds
I had to bring it to the dealer, it took them a while to figure it out.
Turns out the MOST Fiber Pins coming out of the back of the Radio were pushed into the head unit. They were able to take the radio apart and push them back out. So now I know somehow the AVIN connector/splitter that plugs into the head unit with the MOST cable moved to it, somehow pushed the head units MOST connection in. Been very frustrating, now it makes sense. Picture included I hope this helps someone, if you know other places to post please do. Thank you, for the help! |

Has anyone on this thread from the past few years ever found a solution to the no-audio issue?

Here is a fix for a glitch that can happen. If your car suddenly has no audio, no chimes etc. Turn off your engine, keep foot on the break the entire time through this process. Pull key out, still keeping foot on brake. Press start again to start the engine up. Sound should come back. Put key in and turn car off normally. Everything should work normally now.
This fixed my issue a little while ago but now some water leaked in through the driver window and messed up my radio, not getting any audio |
