What kind of torque is getting fed to the rear tires....close to 500 ft/lbs? I don't think anything but a dedicated drag radial or slick will hold that to the ground in 2nd, especially on something like a 335i that isn't set up to transfer weight to the rear tires.....it's set up to handle curvy roads. My car hooks much better than it did....but it's still a little squirmy feeling in second...not like it's spinning the hell out of the tires, but it's enough to feel pretty lose with the traction control off.....and make the traction control kick in a few times if I leave it on.

Overall....much better than before.

Yeah, well, I get equal results running more power than you (E50 tune) on 225 run flats....hence my disappointment.

Yeah, a well sorted E50 tune referencing impeccable logs is definitely down on power compared to a Stg 2+ car on questionable fuel...thanks for that well thought out hypothesis.

Feedback so far on the kumho v70As . I have grip all day from 1st through the gears. Thats on a car that does 10's on the 1/4mile full weight and circuit orientated suspension.
So not a drag radial but, Id say its as good as it gets and you can go around corners fast too.
The wet weather performance isnt shabby either for a sticky track tyre.

My Indy 500's have gotten much better after putting several hundred miles on them. At first they didn't seem to hook up all that great, and they wandered around a lot on the highway.......

But now, they do much better. I did a hard 1st gear launch from a light yesterday out on a back road with nobody around......I just a little wheel soon initially but then grabbed hard and really hooked up well.

With the worn PSS's I had on there before, it would spin the tires all the way through 1st, and most of the way through second if I didn't pedal the gas.

R888r works even on fresh install.
As far as 500tq and stuff I skimmed through on this topic. Theres a few factors.
Tire pressure is one, life of tire also affects how it hooks(heat cycling, treadwear left etc), as far as torque, if it kicks in too soon it doesnt help traction or longevity of motor.
Theres car making well over 500 tq and can still hook reasonably in 2nd gear.
I can do a 2nd gear roll/ pull and not break traction ......but added traction also stresses other parts...2 broken axles .
1 factory stock axle, 1 MFactory (YCW)

Edit: for the people not hooking in 2nd, is this full boost ?
I limit boost in 1st and 2nd to make sure my car goes forward vs spinning and losing .

Have you used the PROS? Currently on 595s but will need more when the weather warms up in Texas and I go on ethanol

No, just RR. This year I might try PRO. Local tracks are still closed. Until June probably
