iCarbon N55 catless downpipes + Artigianato Exhaust - Cold Start. Best performance mod by far. The iCarbon pipe fits like a glove. Full review coming shortly.

Compared to stock:

My car feels faster with exhaust but I haven't dynoed yet. Do 19s just kill hp on a dyno or do they effect street driving too

Depends what 19. Although heavier wheels will feel the loss both on he street and on the dyno..

You might want to add eurocharged.com....they have a hand held flash unit for the N55. They have dyno's of 330whp and 350wtq at only 11.7 PSI.

Is it the same one for the N54?
I would think that would be the case.
the oil cooler housing looks the same N54/N55.

The N55 is a different beast as I'm finding out with all
my trips to the dynoshop.

That video above link'd by Shockin is a pretty good explain'r.
larger wheel vs smaller wheel.

For exhaust, most aftermarket exhaust are lighter than stock /
create great sound - and have minimal gains. - u should
feel good with ur decision on exhaust.

For street driving, I like light weight 19's - just a preference.
You can tool and hypothesis on size and weight all day long.
If u feel ur 19's are doing great, then ur good.
If u start to feel if'y, ur gonna start think'n of alternative
way to maximize your performance. Lot of track guys
run light 18's for their bimmers.

I personally want to try to maximize on performance
and find a nice flow to upgrade our N55.
Honestly I can say, stock 335i is very solid and beyond that
is just ice'n on the cake.

Udub N55 he has it on his bimmer.
My tune is basically a BETA Stage II right now so my final numbers aren't defined. All I have to say is only running an unfinished tune, I made 391wtq on a dyno yesterday with only a drop in filter, catless DPs and axleback exhaust (no FMIC). An N54 Cobb w/ DCI, DP, FMIC and exhaust only made 384wtq.

just updated the page.
should be current.

let me know if i missed any new mods.

- as i know Vishnu with a new Charge pipe
for the N55
to go with existing fmic. Meth nipples included
with request. meth hookup is key for this mod.

-JB+Beta came out as a single plug upgrade tune.
then came some hitches, upgraded bmw software
nulls the tune. Still in beta, so some new solution
is expected. there's still JB stage 1.

-RSD teased a charge pipe

-Berk released their 4" DP

-AR is looking for someone to DYNO their 4" catless DP.

some really nice performance mods are
popping up pre-summer. I'm think'n bout
fmic and oil cooler come closer to the summer.
hope u guys loving the performance increases.

bump for those who want more
power mods for ur n55.
At ur own risk - do ur
homework.

I guess I should tell AR I'll take care of the 4" DP dynoing but won't have an uninstalled baseline for them, I can give them stock tune + DP #'s though.

Hey guys,

just received word from RSD that the N55 Oil Catch Can is a few weeks out. They might release their full N55 product line in about a month or so!
