I will never get this extreme type of behavior. Whatever happened to just being a man about it and being able to just stay even keel.

It’s all in good fun.

Besides, extreme is kinda what I do.

Well, per 'our agreement' sober October is over.

Things I learned.
1. People think that not drinking for a month is an impossible task, almost everyone I told would have been less impressed then if I told them I was going to run a marathon.

2. I have fairly odd sleep patterns that I used to blame on booze, even without it I still wake up at odd times and can't go back to sleep.

3. Drinking is a habit, or a punctuation to the day for me.

4. You can go to any social event with any group of people and you don't have to drink.

5. Its nice to not even thing about how you are going to get home (I don't drink and drive.)

6. I like Root Beer.

I'll see if I have any further thoughts.

I am planning on reducing my alcohol intake compared to before this October.

That is all.

Thanks, I appreciate your understanding! Going to be out in SF in early Dec and it will likely be even worse.

It's almost MOREvember. That's when you have to drink 11x more than a normal month.

Now we're talkin'!

(That said, defining "normal" could be tough.)

It's medicine for your last bike incident. Trust me, I'm an Irish nurse.

Correct. Medicinal use only. Just warding off any lingering chance of infection.

Last time I heard about this... it was highly advised against as i can only cause a relapse for people that would actually need to do this.

So you shouldn’t stop drinking for a set period because you might start drinking again?

You can also avoid hangovers by staying drunk!

I used to question my mom, "Why do I have to wash my hands if they are just going to get dirty again?"

I also run with scissors, which my mom always told me not to do.

And if you do a certain thing too much you will go blind.

I DO wear glasses, so maybe not too much, since I'm not blind (yet).
