Anyone able to recommend a good place to get my Dynavin head unit installed? Or is willing to install it? Possibly put in my MS-8 as well.

Hi guys,
My warranty is very close to expiring soon. Has anybody here gone to a mechanic to get recommendations of last things to do for the final check-up? Do you think it's a good idea? I'm planning on keeping the car for at least 20-30k more miles. Thanks for any advice. |

http://www.bimmerworkshop.com/services.htm Those are the only 2 BMW specialty shops I know of. No personal experience since I still have free maintenance, but I'll check them out (mainly Bavarian Machine) by the end of the year. |

Its not even a question... M performance on the north side.... They are geniuses with cars if you go into the shop, it is the most exotic cars you will ever see at a body shop

This question is about extended warranties, so not sure if this is the right place to post, but talking to my BMW service rep at Momentum, he was recommending MasterTech (based in The Woodlands) as a good company they work with that covers close to the advertised "bumper to bumper". I've also been looking at Carchex as another option. Any of ya'll have any experience with either of these companies or another ya'll would recommend?

So I am thinking about upgrading my E90 with the new Performance suspension and I have been contacting bimmerworkshop up in Humble about the labor and stuff. They are charging me a little over a G for replacing my blown front ZSP shocks and I am not too thrilled to hear the news. I don't know what crazy number they will throw at me to install the Performance suspensions.
Are there other shops that you guys think can do my Performance suspensions?? I would prefer infos from personal experiences.

I did have coils man, FKs for about a year. I put my car back to stock before I move to Houston. This is what my ride used to look like with coils.
Since I am working now all week long with some Saturdays, I need a car that can go anywhere (since I travel a good amount) without worrying pot holes or steep slopes. I don't have a second car (used to have a X5) and I just want to keep my E90 a little bit longer until I can jump into something else. I want to stick with OEM so that I don't have to spend time/money down the near future to put my car back to stock again.

I initially went with all the hype to have my 335i worked on at Motorwerks. That was the worst decision ever. In the end, driving back and forth for them to keep fixing everything they messed up, cost me double by then having to go to C&C to get it done right. I used C&C for my S2K when I had it (before the 335i) but didn't think to go there with the BMW. Now I only take my cars to C&C. Curt and Tony are great guys. Small/personable shop = excellent work. It's a bit more expensive then some run of the mill shops, but it's worth the piece of mind to get it right the first time. |

If you guys need any mechanical work or upgrades hit up bmrtek (his name is rob) he is a tech down at bmw west. He is badass and gives awesome pricing on anything you need done. Ive had do work on my car several times and its always top notch service and hes a cool ass dude. He has been working on bmw's for over 15 years so he knows what hes doing and he also can refer you to one of their bodyshops who also do good work. I had my fenders rolled through them and they gave me a badass price too. His number is 832 three39 six100 tell him i sent you. Texting is the best way to get a hold of him and he also does other cars besides bmw fyi. I promise you wont be disapointed.
