A quick search of the carsales site would suggest the dealers are asking almost full retail price for the used 335's with like 5000-7000km on them! That's a joke - like $120,000+ plus stamp duty in NSW for a used 335! (Given I suspect the trade in on a used 335 with low km's would only be something like $80-90,000)

My car has finally landed in Sydney and has been driven off the "Trianon" cargo vessel at Darling Harbour port 5. Actually saw my car in the flesh today through the customs fence, parked in the covered awning area. Fingers crossed, it should be in my hands within the next week and half or so.
It's been a long... 4 months since it's build in March WEEK 20
Now the wait for the phone call from my dealer is very very near

Yeah, the wait is a drag but hang in there Attila. The wait is worth it.
Personally, I've almost forgotten how the ride in one feels like !
I will post pics, as that is almost compulsary on these forums.
Going to street meets is new to me, but seems like a natural thing to do also.
So I'll be around and it will be good to meet you all eventually!

Woo Hoo! The 335i Coupe arrives at Melbourne Docks 8th September. Only two or three weeks to go now (depending on how long it takes them to unload it etc.). I really am beginning to get excited again - its been a long wait!

Sorry BBQWER, I'm not ignoring you - I keep leaving the schedule in my office at work. I will try and remember to bring it home Monday and I will let you know then!

I'd allow two weeks from date of arrival. Its docking Wollongong so they have to clear customs and truck it to the dealer, do the pre delivery and then register the car. It could be quicker than that if everything goes smoothly - I found it very frustrating waiting - ordered mid January, manufactured end March and delivered end May.

I don't think you need to ask for anything as BMW dealers know how to make you feel special on pickup day. On my last purchase I received a gift voucher to spend in the lifestyle store and a key ring and champaigne.

Are you serious!!!!!!!!!!!! Worried about $200 worth of clothing when your forking out big bucks on a new car. Crikey mate - cancel the order a get a Honda Civic - you'll have plenty left over for a new jacket.
