With the dp's and fmic it would be a good run if you maintained @ 6 or 7psi...that's about stock boost and you would have some nice boltons...

Might have to do it during a meet...or we could just meet up one night, run, and then head to Hooters for something to eat...

Not sure it would be much fun running a JB+ or JB3 tuned car hahaha !!!

i'd get worked.

if there was a way you could "dial in" about 6 or 7 psi with the boltons, i still think it would be a great run.

i would need a cam and retune to stay with your JB3.

5psi in stock form is pretty close to a stock SRT8, but going into a run with a 16/17psi 335 is committing vehicular suicide, LMFAO !!!!

p.s.
so if a person has a bone stock 335/135 but they have a JB3, map 5 will give you the safest but most reliable power, correct?

i could turn it down to map 3 - that would put it at around 10 Psi if i remember correctly. Or Map 0 would put me back to a stock map but i'm not sure if thats a good idea with full boltons. Would I be running too lean? ( Airflow > Fuel )

go for the JB4 if you're going to buy new. Either way your car will be a totally different beast.. and then the mod bug will bite you like its bitten me and you'll start part hoarding like a mofo.

uughgh, i've been going through that since 2004. modding cars is like crack cocaine.

the JB4 that is out right now is just a "prototype" - it's not even on burger's site yet.

i haven't, but i would like to see some results as well.

one guy from Cobb said he could make similar or BETTER numbers than JB3/V5from just the off the shelf tune.

i'm definatelyt a Cobb supporter - just waiting to see real numbers from local Houston/Austin guys

I have it on my e90. Had a v5 before, love both, but Cobb is easier to install and smoother and a bit more powerful

again, i'm in the same boat lol.

i know there are JB4's out there, but i don't think they have been officially released to the public.

as of now, wether you go JB4/V5/Cobb or GIAC it's going to come do to price.

the first 3 should give you minimum of 70-80whp just plugging into a bone stock car.

the GIAC is beneficial when you are already bolted on with DP's, FMIC, catback, etc.

the ProTuned Cobb is beneficial that way as well.

I currently have JB3, but I have decided to go with JB4 when the upgrade is available (hopefully around $100). However, if more dynos and reviews come out with the Cobb that justifies me starting over and paying $900, then I will look into it again. I have too many other mods I want done on the car in the meantime.
