Just worked out that I've £300/m including deposit to play with on a two year lease .

So Please keep this thread updated with desirable lease deals.

Not to bothered about mega miles, even 5000 miles per year would be enough but has to be petrol.

This deal?

This is a 9+23 deal. I'm pretty sure is was a 3+23 or 6+23 deal last time. Still a good deal though.

Any new deal I have seen has been significantly more expensive that last year's original deal.

Maybe you have to call and ask for Scott. This deal seems the same as what was being offered in October and July last year. I took one of the deals in October, still waiting on the car.

Not bad at all.

£2000k + Vat deposit isn't ideal but still a good deal. Excess mileage charge is 0.16p er mile too.

Here's the link to the deal on their website. The 5dr is only £1 a month more.

Nope, this new deal is not as good! Less miles & around £40 extra per month.

Plus you'll need to get the DSG version

Might not be as good as last year, but it's still a blistering deal - even at 11+23 which that is.

Not sure what you're waiting for. You have to go for what's on offer when you need it.

2 years ago was daft, no MB or BMW on a decent campaign right now.

I'll need to order something this summer as the E63 goes back this year.... Have to see what offers come up in Q2 and Q3.... Fancy an M3 as it's still available with a proper gearbox, but the lease deals need to come down by about 40% from where they are now.

Manual owners who get "owned" by a DSG.... will be wishing they read the right reviews!

My order is still stuck on stage 2, no build date! I hate to think how long people putting in new orders will have to wait!

Webwysard,

This new Gold R lease deal works out at £312 / month all in with VAT and initial payment.

Pretty good IMO, if you "bought" a Golf R, your depreciation alone would be double that figure in year 1 and 2.

Wouldn't the M3 seem slow after the Merc....it'll be like going back to a remaped 335i

Hi ha,

The M3 weighs half a tonne less then the E63 so that should help.

And have you seen the new JB4 piggy backs for the M3? Awesome!

They do a JB4 for the M5 too £500 for 650bhp!

M5's are much cheaper to lease than M3's even though they are over £20k more list, but the smaller new modern M3 is the change I'm after I think, and in manual!

Have to see what this summer brings re M car lease campaigns.

Gents,

A tip for bluffing a business lease if a deal is only available to you on a business lease but you want a personal deal for tax reasons... But you need a business to do it.

First set the lease up as a business lease using your company details, but pay all the deposits and initial payment on your own CC.

Once the car is delivered to you, but before 1st direct debit, then just change the direct debit bank account to your own account.

Job done. You have the car you wanted, all the paperwork says company lease, but no matter, there are no HMRC BIK implications because you are paying for it all yourself. (100% employee contribution)

You will be the register keeper at home just the same. Although business leases are as advertised without VAT, they are charged with VAT just like a personal lease.

I'm hoping for some good deals on the new M3/4 too. Like you said though, they have a long way to come down.

I'm looking for a commuter car for the missus. Doing nearly 20k a year.
It has to be auto and do at least 60+ mpg to make it worthwhile.
I spent too long thinking about a great deal on a Volvo V40 and missed it. Not much else out there at the moment from what I can see... Don't have much more that £225 Pm..

What about small/mid size skoda's and Seats? some real bargains for great cars if your missue isn't a badge snob

Don't be put off by a lease price that quotes low mileage, check the excess rate first it can be minimal. It's only 9p/mile even on my E63.

Or ask for the price at 20k per year. It might be less than you think. I've seen prices only jump by just £10/month between 10k and 20k per year.

Thats one of the issues.. I show here the Skoda and she doesn't like it. Yet I show her the Golf and she likes it.. I explain it's essentially the same car but shes not interested.
I think the deal I got offered on the V40 was one of those circumstances. To add another 10k pa was only a few quid more pm. I really wish I had snapped it up.
I have just done the numbers on one of the £200 golf deals and the excess mileage costs for another 12k pa push it way out of the viability zone.

Thanks mate but I've already gone ahead with M135i through a main dealer on PCP instead of lease.
With regards to insurance who's the legal owner on a PCP car ?
