Mine does similar if the floor mats slide forward too much. Hope it's that simple for you.

I dont have any floormats in the car right now. Just the paper ones im swapping carpet and also trying to find bmw floor mats for under $100. I mean i do like it beings right at the engagement point. But then again if its not SUPPOSED to do that, then i want to fix it before i mess something up. Clutch was replaced at 55k miles by previous owner. Makes me think that this means the clutch isnt fully engaged. Aand would this ecplain why im over 2300 rpm at 60mpg?
