I don't come here to talk crap, I just simply post my opinion. I'm an adviser for one of the most respected tuner shops in S.F, and I'm telling you we have a C7 in our garage. Think I'm BS'ing? The GM code for the car is GMX731. Go ahead and look it up. I hope you don't feel too stupid.

What seems to be working for me right now is that I went the dealership and got my fuel pump replaced..they said it was running at 4.7 when it should be 5.0 or better..I dont know the unit of measure. Any, my car feels real strong now. I am just testing out this SSTT right now.
I took Sambonators advice and disconnected the battery (negative terminal)
for about 40 minutes.
It fixed the issue it pulls like the first couple of days after install. I don't know if this will be an ongoing issue but the power gains are amazing for the price and ease of install. If this happens again I will call Split Second to see if the unit needs to be replaced or if this is normal and eventually it will correct itself.
Thanks for the on topic advice and feedback.

Alabama you are seriously an idiot look up the name John Buttermoore, he is the head powertrain engineer for GM. You have no C7 you are in over your head! I just had dinner with Buttermoore over. Xmas I know some pretty scary stuff about the c7 if you think you have one you can PM me the major significant difference from the prior cars. And you said you could bring it to the track... So I will continue to call out your BS! Stick to riding bicycles! You know nothing about cars!

It appears as though "his" C7 z06 is really owned by the shop he represents. Ownership by association? if that was the case I've owned some pretty sick cars in my day..

I don't understand why there's so much hostility in here. We all like fast cars, and like to tune them. I thought we might have a good discussion about tuning since I have over 20 years experience, including the time I spent with 600cc and 1000cc Motorcycles.

I was thinking of offering discounts on tuned parts from the tuner house I work with. We don't do a lot of 3 Series tuning, but we do tons of higher class BMW cars, Audi and Mercedes. We're even thinking of jumping into 3 Series engine tuning but we need to find the financing to start R&D, but trust me when I say we have some interesting prototypes that we've tried on our own test cars that provide massive increases in performance, just nothing we can warranty or even put into the hands of consumers as of yet.

But after getting this kind of welcome for simply posting my opinion, I think I may go back to the M5Boards. Someone actually sent me a PM saying they would key the "shit" out of my M5 if I show up to Sears Point. That was very worrying and actually a little disappointing.

Why anyone would want to own a new M5 and a new 335 escapes me (unless you are wanting to be the quintessential bimmer fanboy).

The 335 tries to do all the things that a M5 does, just not as well. I mean the huge price difference between the two must pay for something. Why not buy a second car that does something better than the M5 for the same price as a 335 - e.g. better utility or luxury - than one you are bound to be disappointed with because it isn't quite like the far more expensive car that you own.

Actually, I don't see the point to your posts at all, unless somehow it makes you feel superior that you can afford expensive cars and others (you presume) cannot. That's dumb because there will always be someone who has a better and faster car than you. (I'm not even sure that a M5 is king of the castle anymore, but that's a whole other thread)

This is an e90 forum of and for e90 enthusiasts. It's all about getting the most performance out of a car that we own. The great thing about owning a 335 is its tunability - an added joy of ownership that 99.99% of M5 owners will never experience. Indeed, in my experience, the sort of person who can afford M5's are on the bottom of the list of people actually capable of driving one. This isn't the case with the 335.

So no, a 335 may not quite measure up to a M5 - but we still get far more fun and enjoyment out of owning, driving and tweaking one than you M5 owners do because you can afford to have a M5 parked in your garage.

It appears that you crammed quite a bit of experience in the 25 years of your life (your profile states your age as 25).

I instantly thought of some guy playing Guitar Hero with a keyboard. Instead of music its random nonsense. Where's a photoshopper when you need one.

Holy shit you work for Shiv??

You said you are interested in doing business with people here? You have an interesting marketing campaign, come to an enthusiast site, belittle the members and their cars and then you want to sell them stuff?
