So with what you saying is that with an aa exede and and intake we can make 370whp?or even with a juice box?we already know the intakes make power up top, people bought the v2s to make that power with no other mods.
Umm, he did break 400 whp long ago with v2.
Why do uniformed people hate so much with completely uneducated and ignorant comments?

Please link us to where Shiv said that just installing v2 on a 335i will give you 400+ whp.
V2 was to give 20-30 whp more than v1.47
For most that's about correct, but air intake is the biggest limitation to getting more out of v2.
390rwhp on 91 Octane with only a couple other minor mods. Where else can you get that power on 91 Octane?

All the negativity and hate against PROcede is now found on n54tech.
So if you don't have anything positive to say or just want to unnecessarily and wrongfully bash the PROcede with uneducated and ill-informed points about the PROcede, you can do so over there and fit in perfectly.

That forum was supposed to be open minded and welcoming for all, but spend 5 minutes over there and it's CLEAR it is a pro-JB forum and constant bashing on PROcede. And all the bashing over there is coming from people who used to flame people on this forum claiming they were bashing JB products and how immature and wrong they were for doing so. Now that's all those people do over there is bash PROcede.
The hypocrisy runs thick from those individuals.

I tried to support them over there and have respected both products and have respect (and supported) Terry and met up with him several times for dynos and runs and so forth.
But the constant, ignorant posts, wrong information, and just seemingly endless attempts to cast the PROcede in a negative light has grown old fast.
Maybe someday it truly WILL be an open forum and welcome to all people with all tunes. At this point it clearly is not.
It's as welcoming for non-JB tuned BMWs as a BMW owner going into a Mercedes Benz forum. Sad but true.

Anyway, nice dynos Thomas considering your elevation and conditions.

Trust me M&M show them the graph of you dyno before you put the dual cones, damn those things made a HUGE difference and like shiv has said they help V2 even more, im expecting 375 WHP - 380WHP with the same induction as M&M thats damn damn good for this altitude and HIGH temperatures. Remember guys we live in sunny South Africa its damn hot here today needless to say i dont care if you turn this into a bashing match!!!

This post is to say THANK YOU SHIV YOUR PRODUCT IS GREAT AND FEELS AMAZING TO DRIVE, CANT WAIT FOR THE DP MAP IM SURE MY CAR WILL BE FLYING

Isn't the stock configuration a "box" that sucks air in fom the front of the car..? This layout suggest that at 20mph+ you'll get a "ramair" effect and have positive air inside the "box".

Dynos standing still are nice... but they DO NOT replicate a car going 60mph with the hood down. I'd suggest that a dual cone induction on the stationary dyno to produce more HP than stock because of this simple physics involved....!

Is the dual cone a Cold Air Intake, in it own box?

I have said nothing about other tuners.I am just questioning the v2 making less power than the xede from shiv almost 2 years ago.I also want to know why he uses std instead of sae and he always says the car compensates well why do all the poeple that put down lower numbers bring up the altitude?

This board has turned into a Shiv palace and no other tuners post here anymore, look at jim C he came and bounced,AA is gone, terry is banned again, everyone hates dinan...and as soon as we question the procede we look like the bad guys.

There is no ram air effect with the stock intake. No one knows about shivs intake besides mysterious dynos and claims. Just that it's a dual cone intake.

Hey guys, all dyno's today were done WITH THE HOOD CLOSED

Look at the videos on the 1st post, and you will see the hood closed. We cannot open the hood as the fan blows it too hard and rocks the car on the dyno.

I have an OBD-II scanner and I can monitor IAT's and its cooler with the cones than stock.

Really.

As far as I've seen Mike@VIP is a big contributor over there and welcomed.
But post after post of anti-Shiv and anti-PROcede got old fast.
I'm happy for Terry and the JB community.
But the negativity and hate against PROcede got too old for me to handle.
Again, maybe someday it will chill out and can be openly visited again by ALL.

No disrespect to Terry for doing so, though he got blasted on this forum in the early days, it was only a few people in recent months who he bashed heads with here, so I understand his need and desire to open a new forum.
But his attempts to make it "welcoming" for all just did not hold up.
I know it's his competitive nature to take constant jabs at his prime competition (the PROcede) but his fanboy followers take it to a whole new level.

Terry is a good and smart guy who is very helpful.
Hopefully he can turn his forum around.

Well said I wish we could just make an informative post like i did now and not turn it into Procede bashing match! I posted these number JUST to show how much gain is made by dual cones and to show that im happy with my numbers

This V2 dyno is showing 318 whp because of the altitude. It cannot be compared to other dynos at lower elevation at all.

Speculating on the intake, Deck has shown 4 dyno runs with V2, exhaust and intake that on average show just 350whp or slightly above. This is on 91 oct. It is not clear how much an intake is worth on average.

We suffer so much more due to air pressure at high altitude any breathing mod helps up here so good numbers M&M

At the elevation, you have less drag enabling high speeds and moreover your advantage over the NA cars is huge. So you should be very very happy!

You might be at 5500 ASL, but what was the DA of the day? I suspect even higher if it was hot as hell.

It is clear though that V1.47 car made 16WHP with the dual cone induction at my altitude, same dyno. I will admit it is not clear how much my V2 car will make with it but im positive it will be more than 16WHP just because of the fact that im boosting more. I need more air and giving it more air will increase HP relatively. I was there at all M&M's dynos and the dual cones made a nice increase so im sure it will help even more on V2 car more at high altitude than sea level but it will help none the less.

Really? Then that IS impressive. But I'm more than a bit skeptical that dual cone filters in the middle of the engine bay are cooler then stock. When did you make these measurements?

I don't argue intake not helping. It's just not clear, how much, exactly. Deck's figures might have been e.g. some 10-15-20whp less without the intake. Or more...or less.. Who knows.
