I only ran a 13.6 and have FBO. I'm a track noob for sure, and my clutch has 116k on it. I had to take it easy on the launch most of the time because if I built any boost at all my clutch would slip like crazy. Regardless of how I launched my clutch was slipping all the way up to 90mpg. When I upgrade to the 335is clutch and have more clamping force I should be able to bang that down considerably. Either way, it was fun to beat the hell out of it for a night and am excited for when I get the new clutch and launch control in.

The 335is and 550 have the same clutch, which is an upgrade over the 335i/xi clutch as it's rated for the V8's power. A lot of people go with it because it still feels like a OEM clutch but has a higher clamping force. Everyone says it's very reliable to 450whp or so.

edit: I see you are going with the 335is, lots of good reviews, fbo on 93 you can probably beat the crap out of it.

Im planning to head to Lebanon Valley. Good buddy has a GTR and live out in Pittsfield and wants to run. Anyone ever hit this track up? I am looking to go 11.99 and maybe scare my buddy for a 100yards or so!

Bump, planning on going soon to see what numbers come up before I purchase and install my FMIC to run stage 1 + FMIC. Currently just stage 1 aggressive with CP. Anyone else go often?

The track has a rep of not being the fastest and it isn't in the best shape - but it is still fun and isn't that bad. Please do not drive through the water box when you're pulling up to make your pass, just drive around it (don't spread water everywhere, unnecessarily)

Saw a silver e92 n54 and a black e90 not sure if it was n55 or n54. The black one ran 12.6. I managed to get 13.1 best time. Trap speed of 104. Will post paper later, tried to break into 12 and just couldn't do it.

Yeah the track is slow from what everyone says, I guess they don't prep it as good as some of the other venues. Nice runs though man!

It was a lot of fun hopefully next time I can go when all the other e90s and 92s go. There was a ridiculous number of muscle cars there. Saw a RS7 do 10s all night with just a beta stage tune, saw a white and blue striped mustang run a low 7. Saw a "700hp" CTS-V run a low 11. Right now I am a FBO n55 w/o protune. Main reason I wanted to go was to see what I could manage before getting my Brentune. Wagner Catted DP Remus Race Exhaust(axle back) 7inch VRSF FMIC Stage 2+ Cobb AP ER Charge Pipe 19s BBS CH Staggered w/ Continental DW The next few things are my list in order are... 1. Brentune 2. Alpina Trans Flash + Coding 3. KW v1 Coils 4. M3 Rear Sway Kit 5. X pipe maybe? 6. Oil Cooler + Catch Can Any other recommendations? Last edited by hz_diesel; 10-15-2015 at 08:11 AM.. |

Meth or E85 before the tune.

I like Bren but if they still are only using Cobb to tune you might be better off with MHD + a remote protune. You can remote protune on a dyno so it's about the same tuning wise.
