Been meaning to ask did the Carly app give you access to DPF Regen options as in when was the last regen?

Hopefully not, On 112k now. It has been absolutely spot on for me! Don't want the mileage too high come selling time. I'm loving the new 8 speed auto's in the Newer Bmw's, would suit my day to day driving better even though I'm all for manuals.
I'm even considering the e90 325,330d in an auto? There more common, just not as quick changing as the 8 speeds but are still reasonable I guess.

I also had the siezed rear wiper problem on that car. Was actually pretty easy to fix, I tapped the spindle out carefully with a rubber mallet then sanded down and greased it. Did the trick !
Was that rear's you fitted or fronts? Thanks for the feedback guys, Probably going to order a few bits and bobs from Leebmann and save a few pennies!

What was it like loosening the bolt on the rear window for the wiper, scared I'm gunna smash the rear window!

It does tell you when the last regen was I think, but you have to buy the DPF 'add on' to regen it. I'll buy it soon and have a little play around with it!

It was the front discs and pads. I don't remember the bolt being a problem, I soaked it in WD40 for a bit and it all came apart ok. I tapped carefully with a rubber mallet and the spindle came out without too much fuss. Mine was pretty rusty so sanded the rust off then smeared in copper grease.

Wayne this car is superb. I very nearly ended up with an Alpine White lci e91 before buying mine. LCI look so good in white with the red clusters, especially with the Ferric alloys and privacy glass. Class! Without doubt they are the best looking Estate car of the generation and class - such a great shape aesthetically.

The 320d must be a superb daily / workhorse!

Thanks for the kind words! I didn't even want white or a 'plus edition' version when I was in the market for one, came across that one when passing a dealer and I had to have it! Its a 318d so very similar! I picked the LCI over pre-lci as it looks a little bit aggressive with the halo's and the small bonnet 'dome'.

It's definatley a great work horse, done a fair few miles in it now.

Thinking of a change later on in the year after 2 years of ownership.

Not much of an update but I got rid of my tacky/dirty reg plate with Evans Halshaw writing on, It was bugging the life out of me having a nice clean car and having a horrible tacky reg plate.

The one I've fitted is slightly smaller, 1cm each way. (Not Legal I know) But subtle enough to not get caught hopefully. Fits inline with the bumper perfectly.

Fitted

I've also got a rear plate to go on original size, should freshen the rear up a little.

New Front OEM discs and pads to be fitted soon also

Wayne.

Yeah the rear one has writing on the bottom too so looking forward to getting rid of that, plus no screw covers cause I'll stick it on like the front one! It's a bit of a headache trying to align it straight though

Lovely in white mate. Also I noticed on the first page the list of differences with an m sport and sport plus. The front grill has vertical chrome slats where the m sport has black

Thanks! Oh yeah I forgot about that! I hated that OEM grill at first but seeing it on a few clean cars on here it's grown on me. Still going to keep my black one on though

I seems the E91 class is picking up! I think they will be more popular as time goes on compared to the 90 / 92...just saying. Or maybe more babies are being born?😍

My e91 M Sport doesn't have the black grill, maybe it's an Lci thing...

Yours must be a 6 cylinder, 330d etc?
6 cylinders have the chrome grille and the smaller four cylinders eg 320 and 318 had black but the sport plus came with chrome too which is what Wayne has

Didn't actually know that on the pre-lci's, thanks for clearing that up Shorty1608!

Love how clean your touring looks with the chrome grill and silver wheels evohicks, lovely example
