wtf, for two people? I've gone to nice italian places in Boston's North End and spent less than that for two. You must have bought a lot of shit.

$220 at a trendy place in the city where I live near. Pre-set menu, three course meal.

Restaurants are way too crowded on Valentines Day...you get more respect (and much more) for cooking at home. Not to mention drinks are already at home and you get 10x's more than ordering drinks out. We drink Grey Goose Martini's Dirty, Red Zin, and already had the drinks...the food was $80:
2 8oz ribeyes, 2 5oz Jumbo shrimp coctail, 2 medium lobsters, 2 lbs crab legs, 2 cups Clam Chowder, roasted potatoes, corn on the cob, lemons and butter. Make sure you pre-crack or pre-split the lobster and crab prior to serving...save your lady some trouble. |
