E-Class police cars would be something... especially touring versions. We get the Mazda 2 in the US, but I do have to say that Peugeots get weirder and uglier with each generation. Not to mention their numeric nomenclature convention is rather self-destructive.

The RS6 is sweet, my favorite performance wagon as well. I've been drooling over this one a couple of times lately at the dealer. http://www.blocket.se/stockholm/Audi....htm?ca=12&w=3 Last edited by PatrikG; 09-10-2015 at 01:31 AM.. |

I'm shamed to say I didn't even realize the 5er Touring wasn't available in the US this generation until I completed my Euro Delivery last December.
I saw SEVERAL while in Germany and this is probably one of Bimmer's better looking wagons. OT: The 5 Series Gran Turismo is hideous (reason why the Touring isn't available in the US Market).

Yeah, a few of these cars either are sold or were sold in the U.S. at one time: the Merkur XR4ti, most TVRs, Mazda2, Smart. What we didn't get were the souped-up versions ...
... and as for Renault: When your main U.S.-market car was called the LeCar, which was marketed as a happy-sunny oil-glut microcar and had roughly the reliability level of a Yugo/Zastava -- at the same time that you were producing the incredible 2G and 3G Alpines and racing all over Europe and F1 -- ummm ... yeah, Renault isn't gonna chance that again. It damn near put the company under back in those days.

Back in the day ...
Either this (Lancia Stratos, Gruppo Bertone's 'other' masterpiece, after the Lambo Countach):
Or this: The BMW M1 (available in the U.S. gray market, but never officially, I don't believe):
