CRT is the e9X M3 that speaks to my interests.
GTS went full retard, do not want. Plus, coupe. Standard car is too heavy. But the CRT... just right. Too bad it was never brought to the USA.

E39 is tied with E12 for worst looks; the E12 has the aerodynamics of a 10- gallon aquarium, and the E39 looks like a bloated turtle. Theyre a match made in heaven. [/flamesuiton] |

Oh I know I'm in the vast minority. Just never liked that car for some reason. Too big and bulbous, especially when you put it next to the uber-handsome E34 it replaced. If I could have one M car out of all that have ever been produced, I would take a '93 Avus E34 M5.

The e34 is actually my 2nd least favorite M5 (after the F10). It had the biggest size increase generation over generation (vs the e28), the biggest weight increase (vs e28), the smallest engine change, and I think the e28 and e39 are both better looking (and the F10, even though I despise it as a car). I'd also hazard the e34 has the second worst interior (after the e60). Which is not to say I don't like the e34. NA inline 6's are BMW's best engine, and the M versions are the best of those. The steering feel is better than the e39 or F10. Manual was mandatory. I just find your cited reason to be... curious. Even more so since you own and e46, which very much shares the same design language.

The E30 is still 1 of my favorite M cars made...I nearly caused an accident just the other day when I saw 1 driving on the opposite side of the street...my wife smacked me in the head telling me I'm fuckin obsessed!
1 more thing...why is it out of all these videos of M cars I've seen, there's never any love for the S63(X5M) |
