Sorry, should have been clearer. I was referring to the lady.
Your topic is of interest to me as I may be looking to upgrade my turbo.
Cheers.

Yeah I was going to go with vtt since their half hour away from me but I'm going to go a different route, these cars are too expensive to get fucked around. Especially if you don't want to replace your turbos yourself

Did Vargas even let you send the turbos back for them to analyze before saying it wasn't eligible for full refund?

I see just as much negative press about RB as VTT. Both companies seem to have PR problems as well as reliability issues and if I ever came to buying upgraded turbos they would be at the bottom of the list.

I'm shocked that this thread has been deleted on BB and not here. Poor show that vendors can just buy the silence of unhappy customers but nice to see people getting a voice on E90post for a change.

I feel like going with a big single is the way to go with all these reliability issues on hybrids. Much easier to replace yourself and a lot more options out there. Id like to see more info no Hexon and Pure

^ There is a lot of knowledge about the N54 on *********** but it is clearly a biased forum.

I own inlets from VTT, but unfortunately that was the only option at the time. I would never buy anything from him again. Dude is Cray Cray.

He says that he takes care of his customers but I don't really believe it.

I am probably one of the first to install Pure turbos who wasn't involved in testing. I am still working on my 93 map but they have worked flawlessly so far. I feel more comfortable with them because they manufacture everything in house unlike VTT and RB. I believe that Hexon also manufactures in house as well.

The problem with the Single is that you will ultimately have to drop about 10k on turbos, fueling, and drivetrain to even be able to use them properly.

I am also not interested in breaking my car, so I am really want to stay around 500whp on 93 and no more than 600whp on E85. I think that you press your luck once you get past 600whp on these cars.

I'm not an RB fanboy (will likely go with Hexons), but be careful of who your source is on negative RB news. Tony is often the culprit claiming reliability and customer service issues w/ RB.

Having been on the forums since 2007, I haven't seen much negative press about RB. It might be out there, but just not that frequent.
VTT, however, I've seen so much that I decided 3 years ago I'd never buy from them.

Single turbos don't always have to be in the 700 range. I plan on a 550-600 turbo so just as much work is needed as pure stage 2....... Also I doubt you'll safely get 500whp on 93 with pure stage 2, still need to upgrade the clutch if you go over this power

I still pray for the day when big turbo manufactures like Garrett would make a direct bolt on replacement set for this car like I'm used to coming from modified R3x Skylines, which wouldn't just die after 10-20k mileage.

Not with a DCT, but you are correct with a 6MT.
