It looks like the process for changing them is fairly straight forward. Not sure, since I haven't had the "opportunity" yet to learn that procedure (I can't seem to hook good enough to stress them anyway).
I paid 150ish off eBay.

You'll get the launch. Just need good tires.

Best run yet, both ET and Trap. I think I got around 65-70% methanol running. I'm number 667. This was at Lebanon Raceway in NY with a DA of 996milibars.

I'm curious - how better times would be with a LSD and solid diff bushings?

Very Nice. If you get that 60' time down to 1.6 you're in the 11's. Hard to get these cars to hookup.

I'm not sure how an LSD and solid bushings would help this car, I think I've read it's a minimum gain.

This was my 3rd pass, the previous ones were a 13.3 @ 100 with a meth quench at start, so I cut it out but I managed a 1.86 60', and the 2nd was no meth 12.9 @ 109 with a 2.2 60'. The track was super crowded today with some other racing events going on.

...
My experience with before/after LSD was minimal to no gain on 60 ft times (both configurations with drag slicks still cause lots of spinning and long dual black rubber lines on the launch if too much skinny pedal is used).

1+

LSD won't do much, if anything for straighline starts at the track.

Temps were great at a high of 64*f and no humidity. I did a 1/4mi averaging calculator and apparently ran a 12.225 @ 112.5mph corrected, I take that with a grain of salt lol.

lastest pass

this past Friday @ crapitol raceway in Crofton, md.

some reason I experienced major wheel hop, on all three passes, I thought I was going to leave parts on the track.

Looking good! That 112 is great. Faster than I could muster with stock turbos.

Yeah I think those air scoops gave me those two mph's, lol.

But that damn wheel hop got me scared and I think the car cut back too even tho traction control was off.

I think I had 16 psi in the tires was to low cause when that sun went down so did the ambient air temp.

Are you on OEM suspention? Various upgraded suspension pieces would help reduce wheel hop.
