Hehe, that's what I'm doing. I currently have a 2003 Mustang Cobra that has 450 RWHP, so no matter how hard I try, I can't tell myself to just get a 328. The Cobra and my daily driver GT are both for sale now, and as soon as the Cobra sells the order is going in for a brand new E92 335i.

I figure I'll live in my apartment for one more year and pay some more bills before I get a house.

You guys must be getting pretty excited. It's making it worse for me to even watch this since I still don't even have my order in yet. Good luck with yours cars. Have fun for me until I can get mine ordered.

Yea, going from a 450 HP to 230 probably would not cut if for me either. LOL

If you think this is bad, wait until your car is three days from landing in NY! It will get worse, dont worry. This is the torture that is waiting for your new BMW until it gets delivered.

I just swung by my dealer, and he said to expect a week from the 24th to be ready for delivery in Boston.

Haha, I'm gonna try to make it better by selling the Cobra, ordering the BMW, then working on the GT a little in preparation to sell it too. I'm putting suspension in it and fixing a few small things to help out the resale drastically. Maybe it will keep me busy enough to distract me a little while. I already want my car now and I haven't even ordered yet.

Looks like the time is getting very near for you guys though!

Yeah, New York is kind of ridiculous. Yet any time I go up to visit, I never see that many ships. Maybe I'm just not looking in the right places.

Thanks for all the updates Archangel. Unfortunately my CA has been pretty useless when it comes to tracking my order. Everyone tells me that the CA should have the most up-to-date information but mine is definitely an exception to that rule.

I dont think I have ever seen that many ships near one port!!! I asked my CA to email me when my car was at the BMW VPC. But I'm not holding my breath. So the only way to track once its off the ship is through CA, right? Uggghh.

I was at the dealer on Friday, and he said that he was hoping to get me in for March. So he thinks I should have the car in a week.

She disappeared again but I think AIS is having a problem. If I zoom in all the way to the harbor, there are only 2 ships showing up. Clearly that is not correct.

I'm guessing she should be docked by now...or close to it...based on her earlier position. Looks like I'll be back to checking the crappy OC.

Update: Back on the map...but it feels like she's barely moved anywhere. WTF.

I'm sure the NJ/NY Port is one of the busier ones on the Eastern Seaboard. The WW site has the ship entering port today and leaving tomorrow so I'm sure they will be unloading cars and other cargo throughout the night.

My CA is new and doesn't have a clue on how long it will take to get from the VDC in NJ to Baltimore. I'm just glad the BMW financing deal (4.9% on 3 series convertibles) is available until the end of April.
