Qualifying is a monk's game ... and any of the top 1-5 grid positions have a fair shot at winning (fuel load obviously is unknown ... were the Ferrari's light, or the Mac's heavy ..?). And that's with a dry race ....

Weather forecasts are for afternoon thundershowers, which would make this anyone's race. Most of the drivers have never driven with anything but TC, and the first wet race will be very interesting (everyone has a shot at winning)

Looks like the FIA weren't happy with either of the MAC drivers Q3 slowdowns .... both have been penalized 5 positions on the starting grid (Kovalainen back in row 4, Hamilton now in row 5)

Massa is a hack .... . I figured he'd do something foolish ... he usually does. Occasionally (because of the equipment) he can manage a error free drive, but usually .....

Too bad about the wheel trouble in the pits for Hamilton ..... otherwise he might have been on the podium too ....

So would anyone like to break down a list of the top 6-8 drivers who seem to be able to cope without the TC (in order from best to worst even)? It seems like some are troubled. Thx

Kimi obviously. I think Hamilton might also have an edge. And all of the newer drivers (who aren't so used to driving F1 cars with TC)

The true test will be rain. Wait for it .... we'll see the heavens open sometime in the next few races ....

Kimi and Hamilton seems fine without TC....as well as many drivers...

Massa seems to have the most problem for him without TC....he spun out on both Australian and Malaysian Races....the Malaysian cost him the podium position.....

I don't know why Hamilton kept using the softer compound tires after the first pit....he and McLaren seems to have problem to cope with the graining on the soft compond....

we saw hamilton was catching up almost a second per lap after he was using the harder compound.....i wonder what was the reason behind that decision....
